  • I like DnB, Jungle, Dubstep, 4/4 Garage and 2 Step, House, Breakbeat and I don't care what influenced what. Good little mix badboysouluk

  • Garage has much more of a black influence/fanbase and dubstep a white one. That's the main distinction imo.

  • These tracks are pretty good. Some of them have a DnB feel to them but with more lyrics. Either way it doesn't matter. DnB, Garage, House, Dubstep (non mainstream) are all good in their own different way IMO.

  • @TheApache565 well you know that a big influence to dnb was garage ^ dub ......and dubstep got its influence from all this forms....so don't get wrong and ask ...... if you put all this gender and listen for separte you could realized on the pitch and the bpm...try it out

pd: don't take this mssg wrong XD(just for you to learn)

  • @cocopacho All good. Thanks for the info.

  • lol im 12 and love garge and house :) im raving out on my jack right now x

  • very good. Downloaded it too my iphone.

Also, this dubstep craze is fucking nuts. I cannot remember a type of music that people talked about so much. I am an American and here it all the time and I think people think its some kind of revolutionary style or something because they never really heard anything besides house. Drum and Bass was sortof big in the late 90s/early 2000s but not like dubstep. Not hating on dubstep its okay...

  • @815Sox dubstep was always there in america thanks to many european ppl bringing new sound to america.....i got mainstream thanks to young and emo kids that listen to skrillex....bcs he used to played in an emo screamo*(thats how i denominated it lol) band and thanks to that he got fans and that's how it grow so fast in the industry(not saying he is not good he got only 2 good tracks)

  • @cocopacho if it wasnt for that you might not hear so many kids talking about it.... electronic music have been huge in america specially in big cities ...but never mainstream .......but its god to know that in the country side of the country its been listen

  • @ Urbanearmusic I do hate some genres though like metal i really hate it ;D

  • always liked the 702 remix ...

  • 2 step garage .... Started in late 90s !! End of !

  • Uhhh "mainsteam dubstep"? Its just an evolved form of Dubstep. people are so childish with genre's listen to what you like. I don't understand why there needs to be segregation on genres like where in a god damn gang or something, smh. every genre is going to evolve and mutate into different sub-genres and people can like the evolution of a genre or dislike it. really is there one person who hates an ENTIRE whole genre? and not like ONE single song? kiss my ass if you hate an entire genre.

  • @Urbanearmusic dubstep in generall got mainstream thanks to abunch of emo punkrocker kids that listen to emo bands and dress in thigh pants thanks to skrillex(when he was a emopunk{he still}) ...too bad 80% of american kids don't know about music ...not hating

  • wow this is actually really good. i like it and im not really into this scene..still getting used to it!

  • wheres the download link, dude! ;)

  • Yep, I was there....happy days indeed!!!

  • I'm looking for a tune thats really soulful its quite chilled with male vocal singing the whole way through, i can hum it but the only lyric i can remember is 'every damn day' then comes in with trumpets da da da da daaaa daa de de de daaaaa... lol any ideas people?!

  • Garage gave birth to grime, grime gave birth to dubstep.

  • @presmokan does anyone know a very rare uk garage song by dreem teem ft mc rankin i think its called my dj play it cant find it anywhere

  • Takes me back to 98-00... Awwww the good ol' days... This music is spot on, and the seamless mixing only adds to it... DJ: Please upload some more... : )

  • People need to realise that all genre's of music aren't brand new and haven't just come out of no where, they all have roots from something else and these roots can actually sound completely different. Obviously dubstep is now more main stream then garage but music comes and goes, in and out of the lime light and that's a fact. A lot of people need to learn how to appreciate good music like this, dubstep etc even if they are not fond of it themselves.

  • great music brooo, keep spinning it

  • Stop talking shit about dubstep, brostep and all that stuff!!! Garage.... that's what is all about!!! Shut the fuk up and open up your hears!!!! it ain't just noise...this is MUSIC!!!!

  • Dope !

  • ba ba ba Banging mate !

  • propper nice mix fella. been reading through some of the comments about grime and such, check out the grime historians channel hes got tons of good grime or listen to old sets on rinse and pressure and even kool fm

  • reminds me of myself mixing it up

  • Great tracks, but it's a real shame that the quality sucks.

  • Wicked Mixing...

  • Not that I hate dubstep or anything but how exactly did dubstep evolve from UK Garage. They sound nothing alike.

  • @prepschoolkid listen to some of of those dark garage releases like el-b mix of zed bias neighbourhood or those horsepower productions tracks and then any other early dubstep releases up to 2004/2005

    bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00wfh9p scroll to tracklisting

  • @prepschoolkid have you heard Old Dubstep for a start? heres a 2004 mix from Skream. if you listen closely most of the tracks are actually garage. (just a much darker strand) /watch?v=Vlzfp2UzkDo ... Dubsteps pace is basically garage at half time so it can be easily mixed. But I understand where your getting at. Nowadays Dubstep is harder and catts off the Jump Up Drum and Bass sound. and now its even taking influences from mainstream electro and techno music. But trust me mate this is the roots

  • I miss tunes like this.

  • There are 9:59 minutes not ten! Thumbs up if you saw this before you saw the comment

  • @radut1999 Come on ....

  • @radut1999 what the duck, man? ^^ go phuck a bucket

  • Ahhhhh Sunday morning! Nicely done!

  • whats the pink tune again ?? i use to have most of the records you put up in the pics... but whats the name of the pink one ???

  • as if this is old skool now, think i just realised i'm getting older too haha, wicked mix

  • U KNOW THIS, THE OLD SKOOL, THE ONLY SKOOL!!!

  • IT'S GARAGE & IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN!! No better genre for me! GREAT TIMES :D

  • The best version of this song that I found was on mp3ify.com and you can download the mp3 or import it into itunes.

  • sounds just like DEEP HOUSE (except for the breakbeat kicks instead of "four on the floor" kicks)

maybe you can just call it 'sped up trip hop'/ --speed trop?

  • @funktronix except for the fact that it sounds just like UK Garage. You must be new.

  • @funktronix lets just keep uk garage, that name has been doing his job for quite some time now

  • I NEED MORE!!!!CAN SOMEONE SEND ME LINK PLZ!!!

  • God yes i was there so were many doves as i recall . happy garage days

  • late nineties I loved the d n b and garage, OVER HERE IN THE STATES.

  • feelin this mix. take manz backz.

  • Anyone know a garage track that has the vocals " LOVE SOME MAN.... and it grows wider..." not sure about the second line, but it definitely has love some man in it! Hellpp

  • i think ur on about little man by sia

  • @BABYSHAMDUBSTEP thanks found it just after i posted my comment thanks again though.

  • @toastingbread Yeah that's "Little Man". Doesn't say "Love some man" at all!

  • @edtough it says it right in the start, but thanks anyway i found it just after posting the question. Thanks all the same

  • @toastingbread For the second time, no it doesn't; it says "little man" not "love some man". The bloody song is even called Little Man!

  • this is doing it nice feeling to all the tracks old school UK garage it dot get better :)

  • GARAGE WILL NEVER COME CLOSE TO JUNGLE

  • @doghartdon both are incredible

  • @doghartdon where would jungle be without garage. jungle is garage sped up. where are we without our heritage, brother?

  • @bostonkanevideos LOL you're trolling right

  • Download please?

  • This is absolutely amazing! First time I have heard UK Garage and love it! Really mellow tunes and chilled out vibes. LOVE IT!

  • God I miss UKG....

  • I just listened to 10 minutes without even thinking about changing the track..

Modern day songs get skipped about 45 seconds in....

    fuck.

  • @Junket622 too true man :)

  • the beginning reminds me of Raze

    a song called

"That's the way" the remix or original or both of them

  • the beginning reminds me of Raze

  • @Totalbliss : It's not dead, but most of the current 'future garage' tunes come from the dubstep scene. Check Joy Orbison, George Fitzgerald, Jacques Greene, XXXY a.o.

  • whats the first song on this mix???

  • Is garage dead now? I am new to the electronic scene and it seems to me all the amazing genres are from the UK...I am headed back I am not old enough to party...I need to know the good club/ underground or what not the hear the best music. I am pretty excited to be going to listen to Grime!!

  • @totalbliss777 garage has moved on ! now we are all into dub step !

  • @totalbliss777 it's not dead it's just different.

  • @totalbliss777

soooo, im just 17 but i was in the scene since 7 years... ;)

garage or 2step are the predecenders of dubstep... this music has some deep basses and mostly chilled elements or vocals.. after that people like skream, benga or digital mystikz introduced dubstep. (the oldschool, real dubstep) they had deep basses too, but the focus was on the chill with bass and time ;) and then there is the modern dubstep with skrillex, borgore etc..but garage will never die ! :D

  • @DownFlex not shitting on ur comment but skrillex borgore ect isnt dubstep its some shitty sounding music that happens to be somewhere around the 140bpm and have simularities to actull dubstep drum patterns so is wrongfully labeled as dubstep

  • @tangoxp

    well unfortunadely yes....

but dont make a seperat genre of it.... it is still dubstep, even if you dont like it ;)

  • @DownFlex Skrillex belongs to all you little dubstep bumboys, suck a shame Dubstep now caters for "trendy" Superman new era wearing cunts. I grew up on garage in the 90's, so glad that scene wasnt killed by all you floppy haired clowns.

  • @whatayasaying

    OMG dont be so stupid....

i dislike skrillex too and i never said that garage is the same as dubstep...

it was just the beginning of it.... stop trying to defend you favorite music and call people who like other styles bumboys.... free opinion man..... -.-

  • @DownFlex shut up bum boy go back to moshing to dubstep with other private school kids

  • @whatayasaying Fuck yes!!!!! Dubstep is tryna be the Garage of the Noughties! aint gunna work!!! garage is and will be the best UK music EVER!!!! Fuck Dub Step!!!!

  • @jaydaman263 no

  • @jaydaman263 correction fuck mainstream* dubstep.

  • @jaydaman263 mate to be honest, Dubstep has blown garage out of the water with its world wide audience, garage died but dubstep will never die out a lot of people will always be making it because its an established genre and has a lot of popularity plus it covers all bounderies like, hip hop, trance, even metal so it covers a large audience while old skool garage was just sped up rnb really.

  • @jaydaman263 dont get me wrong tho i still love garage and think that it should make a comeback.

  • @whatayasaying Skrillex is brostep man... get your facts right. he's brostep even if a lot of peep tell you otherwise.

  • @Wardog11111 Talking about get my facts right, Skrillex is brostep dubstep fucking shit step I couldnt give a shit, hes and emo bum boy like "brostep" fans.

  • @DownFlex nah its bro step.

  • @DownFlex would you agree that the new dubstep is kinda annoying? i don't get why everyone likes it..

  • @TheSix4Impala

well, i like modern dubstep really much, but there are realy a few songs, that are annoying, like some skrillex songs....

i like both dubstep "generations", and if you dont get mainstream, its okay ;)

  • @DownFlex you dun fucked up dubstep is a predecesor of garage and drum and bass.

  • @HELLHamster16

yes, rage another time, dude, you wont get it anyway :/

  • @DownFlex wtf dude how am i raging im just saying you fucked up a swear fucking loads that dont mean im raging, wow dude nice reading

  • @HELLHamster16

    im german, sorry Oo

  • @DownFlex oh ok fair enough

  • @totalbliss777 Drum and bass is the way forward. Screw dubstep :-)

  • @McAndy1995 NO

why cant dubstep (purists), DnB, grime, and bruvstep listeners all get along? only we can get rid of the shit on the radio!

  • @XEnfluenzaX cause kids my age are noobs at music, and many like to troll and just start arguements just because they dont like the a certain genre, also they make music like a commpetition or somethings. sure im a 14 year old, but im not one of those trolls. and i wish oldschool "real" dubstep still existed along side with new brostep... but then music changes.

hey dude..and whats "grime"? and can you give me some suggestions please! :)

  • @iBdan97 im pretty new to grime also, but i like it.

its basically British rap with its orgins from UK garage, dancehall, and hip hop. it doesnt really have the heavy synth that most other electonic music does, but it sounds great.

a quick search of grime on youtube should give you a general idea.

  • @XEnfluenzaX thanks dude! grime sounds pretty cool.

  • @XEnfluenzaX Wiley,skepta,JME,kano,alaka,tempz,giggs,devilman,sox,kozzie,jammer,merky ace,tre mission,scorcher,roll deep,p money,lethal bizzle,wretch 32,ruff sqwad,k koke,english frank,young adz,sneakbo,lowkey,ghetts,boy better kbow,mz bratt,devilin,rochie,bashy,dot rotten,black the ripper,dizzee rascal,scratcy.
