How much work is it to get a chevy LT1, LS1 into a volvo 240, and by work i mean is it really expensive for a shop to put in the now motor, tranny, driveshaft, rear end etc.

Well, since I am not the proud owner of the vehicle in the video, I don't know what has been spent on it. However, I have had similar work done, and by Danish standards it does not come cheap. Almost any motor alteration is illegal in Denmark, so if you decide to do something like the Volvo in the vid, you'd have to do it yourself. In addition, Chevy motors are rare in Denmark and usually have to be imported = EXPENSIVE!

Thats too bad, here in the US chevy LSXs and mustang V8's are everywhere, i guess in Europe a turbo system would be cheaper than a used motor, unless your talken' about crate motors, there expensive everywhere.

That Volvo looks a lot like a 1 series body. But then under the hood it has the 2 series suspension. Front fenders must be 1 series....cool looking nonetheless.
