@fordcrossie i had a C36 and of course my c32 is much quicker. but the c36 (stock) is having the way better sound ;)

@PsychoNapkin yeah the c36 sounds great, i'm going to upgrade it to 320-330 should be pretty quick. I'm doing this by Gruppe M intake, Eisenmann Race muffler, A 20 hp tune and cat delete.

guess its all a matter of taste. when i bought my C32 i was on the fence between this and an E46 M3. i preferred the C32 sound to the M3 (not to mention a bunch of other things!). after listening to the c36 with custom exhausts, it reminds me very much of the way the M3 motor sounds.
