Qn3. Yes , we do not know of any chemical reaction during the eclipse. But in science, we do not make conclusions based on what is not known.We make conclusions on what is observed and proved in a scientific method. Science will correct itself if ti is proved so, tomorrow. But when you try to justify something, based on something which is not observed or proved yet, you knowhow much validity that argument has. In simple words-you can not take my lack of proof as a proof for what you argue for.
Qn 2: The simple analogy of "amma and kunju" is to baffle the logical thinking. Science do not have beliefs-it tries prove by observation and experiments. It is quite amazing that the ancient Babilonian and Indian scientists could reach at so much of observations and conclusions ( i like to call them like that rather than a sage.it is a proven fact that many of them were not sages. it does not matter whether they are sages or not.). But that admiration do not fool me to believe everything(contd)
Qn 1 : Animation is not wrong. It is clearly mentioned in the video that the "months are calculated based on the belief that sun in revolving around the earth". Other than pointing that historically the "calendaring" is based on this belief, documentary is not saying that sun is revolving around earth.
Question 3: Even now we don't know what type of chemicals or metals are present in moon. So during soorya grahanam and chandra grahanam we cann't predict there is no chemical reaction in moon/earth surface. We need to scientifically prove that.
4. We the mankind is trying to unfold the secrets of the universe which is “Anantham Ajnjatham Avarnaneeyam.” Dear friend I believe surely that “Orikkalum sambhavikka Illennorikkalum Parayaruthe.”
. What is a chemical reaction? It is some reaction between two chemicals. The shadow of the Moon cannot chemically react with a chemical in Moon or Earth. Eclipse is nothing but casting of shadow of Moon, just like the roof of our house casting shadow inside or the shadow below a tree. If the shadow can act as catalyst in some chemical reaction, surely that chemical reaction should happen in the shadow below the tree even when there is no eclipse.

Question 2: People from anciant india and babilona identified these without any equipment or travel through outer sky, But all they are completly or patially true. "Oru kunjinte achan aarennu amma paranju kodukkumpol aanu kunju visyasikkunnathu" athu pole anu pazhaya munimmar paranja jathakam innu nammal visyasikkunnathu. Oru documenterykku athine maattaan saadikkilla.
