Why break up if people just found out your marketing plan? Faul cant grow facial hair, this isnt possible for normal humans. He has so much surgery that he cant grow facial hair. He wore a fake beard on Let It Be and had a microphone cover his mouth on the cover because his jaw collapsed from surgery. His hair is different. Compare photos and its easy to see. This was the Beatles at their creative peak - the year they showed the rest of the world what could be done with imagination and freedom from record company straitjackets. As for this track, to me the standout element is McCartney's bass - what a different and lesser song it would have been with conventional on-the-beat playing, rather than Macca's quirky syncopation. This virtually cries out for you to make up your own dance steps. Brilliant.

The freedom to put such lyrics into a pop song was what made the song - and the Beatles - so far ahead of their time. Anyway, IMHO, art SHOULD disturb us, make us think ... and even frighten us (check out Peter Gabriel's "Intruder".)

I prefer music from many decades, but I'm not going to say my choices are best....The Beatles are the best in my own opinion, but you've got your opinion, and that's cool....Peace...I'm an all time Hendrix fan, but that's another story...:)
