i already set up ad hoc, when im connecting using another laptop thru wifi, it connects, but there is no internet access. the activity is only sent the received is zero. what should be the problem? thanks

You need something that can communicate with the device like a usb wifi dongle.

u need a wireless reciever like a USB wireless drive or a wireless card on all computers including the one you are setting it up on

Right click the internet icon in the task bar,,go to network and sharing center,,on the left click manage network connections,,right click the wireless network connection and enable it and now when uu go to create a new network ad hoc should show up

Okay, i go to start-control panel-network and internet-network and sharing center-set up a connection or network- and then it says choose a connection option and there is no ad hoc option! what do i do? and will this connection work on my ipod touch? PLZ REPLY SOMEONE!!!
