The weapons used would of been A L98-A1 possible an A2 but I doubt it. In the Cadet force we are only allowed L98-A2's. Not SA80's.

Army cadets in Britain are the best, we get to fire blanks on a regular basis and a range at least every 2 months.

when i went on my first summer camp and just passed my basic they wouldent let me out on the 3 day exercise unless i knew how to use the rifle and no how to control the rifle not let it control me. and i ended up firing over 230 rounds in one day :D

@RIFLES2J *rolls eyes* the BFA isn't a supressor, its just designed to break up if a live round is fired, thus stopping the live round and making the weapon entirely safe (except for the muzzle flash) for 2 rounds, although by that point you should have realised that youve stopped firing blanks

what u do is do a forward assist witch is pushing the cocking handle forward then if it happens again i think you re cock the weapon and hold the parts to the rear do 8 point check then release parts and fire away but its rare you get a stoppage on new rifles i was at cadets today and used the weapons all night it was fun lol

If the army was worried that much about safety for cadets they would have upgraded the GP to fit a BFA. Then again a cadets head is not an orange so I doubt they are worried too much about blank round gunshot wounds...

One thing which should be looked at more however is who they let teach cadets. There are to many gimps/weirdos pretending to be soldiers and not enough soldiers teaching cadets.

section attacks are f^ckin amazing, although it couldnt be 1* vs. REC as to fire the LSW you need to be 3*, and to fire the L98-A1 in a blank firing manoeveure you need to have passed your 2* skill at arms
