The instrument "night lighting", of the steam gauges was exceptional; is hard to keep all of that lighting operational. Also, once again, did you notice the throttle knob spread,? #3 was way out of position - with all of the engine power indicators indicating the same. Loved the pressure altimeter and the "electronic altitude indication", being roughly the same! Yes, you can have your EFIS - give me those lovely steam gauges!!!
hey guys u won belive me...i'm a pilot ,one time we were transfered in a russian plane cuz our plane fuck up during a blizzard...and in the take off the pilot has his shoot of votka..and the co-pilot playing with a PSP...crazy..from these moment i always take off with a whiskey shoot...I LEARN from the russian...
All kinds of weird steam gauges -- stuff left over from cold war era. With all that navigational crap, turns out they're navigating with a handheld Garmin 696.
Awesome aircraft, would love to fly in one at some point. Im reading a book called 'Outlaws Inc.' which is all about the.... 'alternative business' conducted using these planes :D
