Very well done, though it might have been better had all the hands been signing, rather than some being the fireflies. it made it a touch distracting trying to focus on the signs.

dang! i wish we had gotten more ppl into the asl club at my school. we could've done something like this... not enough ppl joined our club tho :( now that we r gone, i dnt even know if they still have it there. i hope they do... it was really sad, in the end before graduation, it really was only 2 ppl left. me, the vice-president, and my friend josh, the president of the club. truly sad, since one of the popular foreign languages to take over there is in fact ASL. ?i know i dnt get it either?

WOW. Simply, wow.

First I must say I was going to mention that this was slightly confusing with all the other hands around the main signer, and I was going to say that I really don't like it when ppl do these because a lot of ASL is body language and facial expressions.

BUT!! Then I saw the 'open jar' with all the hands, and REALLY got into the signing. And keep in mind my sound is not on right now at all and I was only half paying attention. With that... like I said: WOW!!!

Man i wish this was in HD. Im sure it was hard to record though, being in the dark and all. I think the group used white gloves, while wearing black clothes with black lights being the only source of light.

So beautiful! My only suggestion is that the person who does most of the main signing wear a different color glove so it is easier to tell which hands are doing what.

Amazing performance, my only criticism is that it was often difficult to pick out the one pair of hands that was actually doing the ASL. Perhaps having all the hands syncronized with the signing would have been better.

So good. Only thing I think should of been changed is the signers hand should have been a different color than the fireflies so it was easier to tell the difference. Otherwise, this is amazing.

@ASLmusicpanda White gloves with a blacklight will work great! Then wear black everything else. You can even do different color gloves like lime green and hot pink to make different colors.

you use white gloves and blacklights, which means your performers have to be wearing head-to-toe black so their hands are the only things that light up (even their faces)

@ASLmusicpanda I guessing they used white cloth, watched with detergent, like you normally would, they shine ultra violate light on them. That's just how I think they did it.

@ASLmusicpanda We used white marching band gloves (why it's such a good fit on the hand :) ) and black lights. Then like others have said we were head to toe dressed in black and couldn't smile or our teeth would glow :) The techies at our school worked really well with us to and made the theater completely dark.

@ASLmusicpanda My church has done something similar to this before and they used white gloves with a black light shining from the floor to where their hands are. Just make sure everyone wears black because anything light colored that the lights hit (blonde hair, skin, ect) will light up just like the gloves!
