Is there a way to completely avoid it? Doubtful. Try and imagine a place you don't see or hear advertising or any artifacts of 'mass produced culture'...few, if any, exist. Any exposure to it shapes the way you perceive the world, what behaviors you consider acceptable or unacceptable, or what ideas you are open to or discard. Really the only way is to be aware of how what you watch and hear affect the way you interpret reality and recognize that that content is fully manipulated and controlled.

Indeed. Culture has been created by the elite all throughout time. When the Christian faith was born it was in direct opposition to Roman cultural and social tendancies; Christianity was outlawed and Christians were persecuted. Then came Emperor Constantine and the rest of the story tells itself.

This is a movie. Therefore it is another form of manipulation and control!!! They want to make us further DOCILE you know. This is the reason that MR. BEALE is lectured on how the world is organized and is given a wonderful vision of the future. But he does not tell him about how humanity will have to be enslaved for this vision to become reality.
