что бы исправить разрыв строки, нужно включить принтер, зажав кнопку "yes". Принтер будет пошагово печатать меню, на пункты которого тоже будете отвечать кнопками ес но. Где-то в этом меню будет пункт "авто что то там лайн.. " ответите "NO", и проблема прекратится
Its a fault with the driver supplied in Windows from XP onwards. The fault doesn't appear in Windows 98SE oddly. Try other 24pin dot matrix printer drivers, even from other manufacturers and it will work properly then. I have the same printer.
@tingtangtom I cannot recall off the top of my head but any 24pin printer driver should work. Give me a week or so (cos I am a bit busy at the moment) and I shall fine out which one worked. :-)
@tingtangtom Ah nice one. It's a solid little printer that. Very cheap to run. It's a shame they didn't continue to develop dot matrix printers for the consumer market.
@deepblue69uk Obviously these printers arent profitable enouth for companies. Customers would buy one of these for cheap text printing in their homeoffice and the company wouldnt see that customer again for the next 10 years because. Printing companiey need customers to come back for high quality cartridges and printerheads every few month.
It's like with modern consumer level esspresso maschines, where the industrie advertises automatic maschines that use small cartridges per cup.
@tingtangtom Actually, these printers are only good for plain text and can not be compared to inkjets, lasers or leds by DPI. They are still made today for some specific customers as menu companies use them for archiving.
@tingtangtom Well I'm about to get mine out of the garage again because I've found lots of surpliers for replacement ribbons...so I shall be using it again. Windows 7 has better support for them now.

thank you. I now choose "Epson LQ-100 Scalable Font" instead of the ESC/P2 driver and the line error is gone.
