I would say it's closer to Anti-Christian, however it also has to do with Norwegian history. From what i understand, a lot of invading Christian ethnic groups persecuted the natives of Norway that practiced Pagan traditions, so I'm guessing that's why a lot of the themes of Black Metal are rooted from Paganism.
