just saw MBAR in SF. he/they were sick. they were really starting to kill it, too, but then their set was over - just like that. they opened for two other bands, oddly enough.
i'd only found out about MBAR about five weeks ago, but felt like i'd been waiting all year to see them. the show was f*************g awesome! can't wait till they come back around again.
I just saw this guy open up for tv on the radio and it was awesome. This guys lyrics are amazing. Ended up getting the cd and loving it. Gooooood Stuuuuff...

How the hell does this guy keep getting gigs? He was the worst live act I have ever seen in my life, when I saw him open for The Black Kids at Santos Party House. People in the audience were laughing at him.
I got my tix for free, and I can't believe that when the sound guys gave Miles the signal that he could only play one more song...he had the balls to just keep playing another song after that one song. What an egomaniac!
you're honestly going to bash this guy and then say that BLACK KIDS fans are laughing at him?? I would take that as a supreme complement, less tards as fans

Amen. Black kids are weak. MBAR -- whether he's kinda a drunken asshole or not -- is at least talented. The guy writes great music.
