Like after the first mushrooms grow, and you pick them, if more mushrooms grow after that, thats a second flush. you can get more flushes out of each cake by soaking your cake in clean drinking water for 24 hours right after you take it out of the colonizing jar

i now frequently use straw and hay as a substrate, and many times i used large trashbags and inoculated with a syringe, but was just wondering if spore prints would be just as effective on laundry basket type culturing?

aha yea he means 10 pounds wet. Not dry, remember that mushrooms are 90% water so you would likely only get 1 pound maybe 1 and half.
