Posting February 2012 - In looking back, this performance is just so sad and must have been a painful fall from grace for Whitney. She was definitely in trouble. I wish more people would be kind and forgiving during the times she was clearly in trouble. RIP Whitney....
I went to this concert and Whitney was terrible she looked like she was high on drugs and stumbling through songs. When u charged nearly £90 a ticket u do expect a better level of quality. I love Whitney otherwise I wouldn't have gone to the concert but if she knew she couldn't perform at least don't so we can get our money back. Sad that she has passed RIP Whitney
It's funny Britney Spears is miming all the way thru her concerts, not a single line sung live and nobody seems to mind that and she gets glowing reviews for her O2 shows. OK Whitney had a bad day or a bad week but at least she is honest and admits it and is not miming to pre-recorded vocals. I really don't understand the witch-hunt. It's not like people spent their life-savings to see her. Get a drink and relax and try to get into the spirit of things...her voice changed in the last 20yrs OMG!
Its Dolly Partons song she wrote it and it was '' 1 '' in country back in the 70's for weeks and even today Dolly sings it like a beautiful hurt angel but Whitney singing Dollys song today its GROSS !!!..

@jm423 people enjoy because it is still a concert from a legend. It's still bad and people can post if they want. I don't think that WH would have had so much scrutiny if she didn't always walk around acting like she is the greatest. She said she don't lip sync. Well she did in her concert's faster songs (not all). If you act like you are the greatest and know you can't deliver, u get it from the public. It is not entertaining to see someone lose their voice. But if you charge tickets, deliver.
Ok I am not one to bash any celebs for being sick or whatever, and I am a fan of whitney's HOWEVER What is this lol I am sorry, but I have seen many videos of her singing this in concert this year, and they all basically sound the same. I just want to say that people say Mariah lost her voice, but I think whitney may have lost it at least for a while.
@brandinj she lost it in the 90s hence limiting her performances. I remember her singing count on me either grammy's or AMA w/ cece and cece held back so bad since WH couldn't hit the notes. She lost it for quite some time. I can't think of any other songs after bodyguard that matched her prowess. She changed style and lowered her pitched ever since then.
It would be great to have all her live best performances on Youtube on a DVD for purchase...what a great investment and awesome reminder of what she once was. This is one of the saddest performances I have ever heard period. As much as I love Whitney, I cannot stand by and sugarcoat this with age...she made choices in her lifestyle that caused this. I am not judging her and grateful that she's still here with us but she has to know that it's simply over...may THE VOICE forever rest in peace.

This is very sad... but.. I saw her last night and I have to say she does still have the incredible voice. the problem was that all the songs were changed so much that some of them were unrecognisable and she seemed absolutely exhausted like she had been running in a race like. And she did take quite a few breaks i must admit. I do love Whitney and i think some people forget that she i older now and she is still human. So shes not as great as she used to be. She still has the voice.

It is time for Bobbi Jo, Whitney's own managers, Oprah Winfrey and others to tap Whitney on the shoulder and tell her not to come out of the wings anymore. I have never heard a singer sound so poorly. This is a disgrace. Those drugs have done damage to their voice beyond compare.

WHY are several people here saying Whitney is not the creator of the song, yet they WILL NOT tell the name of the person that is the real creator of it? (at least, nobody on this page of comments has mentioned the real creator of it). If you are going to point out she is not the original singer of the song, then also have brains enough to tell everyone who the real creator of it is. @bgiles26 I'm so sorry to see this happen to Whitney Houston but I disagree with you that this is due to aging because Barbra Streisand still sounds awesome and, Tina Turner still has it, even Ol' Blue Eyes was still singing beautifully in his final performances. All of those folks are WAAAY older than Whitney. This is definitely the drugs.

I know people want to claim that Whitney is on dope but let's put this in perspective. Whitney Houston is not the same Whitney Houston who sung that song. She is older and her voice is older. There just some songs that she just can't sing anymore. It would be like Prince attempting to sing Let's Go Crazy from 1984. Not happening. Youthful vocal cords can deliver high pitch and Whitney don't have the pitch anymore. I'm forever a Whitney fan but the girl is gone.

u try dancing about on stage and singing - bet u can't. This woman put on a great show - did u want her to just stand there and sing like she does on the recordings?
