Very cool used to do the model thing along time ago before electric was popular. Just an Air Hogger now...sadly said ... would like to get back into it again but i think I ll go with electric ... less messy....very nice job of flying...I used to own a plane called a Killer Vee made by a company GM Precision....I guess they went under cuz you don't see em for sale much anymore...but it was a little performer and fun. Thanks for sharing :)
Arthur wasted no time with getting into the final approach. Fine landing with that scary cross wind that could have flipped the A/C over. Power plant sounded great and I felt a rush with the zooming around. :-)) Is no wonder pilots broke the propellers off their emblems in history after experiencing the speed.
Precious reproduction and the most ironic thing is that the original Salamander was made with the same materials (mainly plywood) as probably this little one.
Fiberglass make this model even more complicated in construction than the original then!
I would love to see some restored original flying again (maybe with a more reliable power plant?). Anyway this one brings a lot of respect to an original! Thanks :-)

well, the model is build in full fiberglass.
You'r right that the original was build with very poor materials, also using plywood.
BUT anyhow that thing flew !!!

Well, it will be very difficult that someone will carry out such work.
I also like to see that plane flying again. even with more recent technologies.

I fully agree with you!
