I didnt catch in comments name of player. He seems to me very good. I heard Yangguan from more people and I really like how this man plays it. Btw - It's one of my most favorite songs.
I've seen them on eBay several times. around 350 dollars. just go for the steel strings. some say they only come with silk strings and they rot easy. also the strings cost a lot. ck into strings for guqin.. google them. around 125 dollars just for strings.

how did lesbian MALE= ?? come into play, are you on extacy right now? and your telling me to get a brain rofl. and nothing will change the fact that you are garbage that love extacy and eurotrash made in turkey rofl so again gtfo
Im hoping to get one soon along with a guzheng and I wanna record some songs im sure putting guqin underneath almost like a bass might be pretty cool but then again its all about taste.
Personally i like the slow playing of the guqin and i like the guzheng or the pipa for faster music but that's just my opinion of course lol.

woo lookie me im a gay garbage from turkey that probably contracted HIV years ago, and i like crappy funk music and probably garbage eurotrash and pretend its music when its just a prelapse to extacy.... GTFO whore
I wouldn't say the Guzheng is nicer. It has more strings, thus more variations than the Guqin. But Guqin is a much older instrument than the Guzheng and has a whole school of culture behind it. I prefer to more subtle and sombre sound of the Guqin.
ya but sometimes i don't really like the sound of the guzheng, cuz sometimes it sound a bit like the pipa i don't know y but i just dislike it when it sounds like the pipa. so i like the guqin more i find it really different from others. some really nice things on its own.
"Three Variations on The Sun Pass." I recognized it about two minutes in, but had to check my iTunes library to find the title. I first heard it played by Dai Xiaolin on "L'Art de la Cithare Qin."

what is the best age suitable to play guqin? Is there a too old or young age?
rinwhr 3 years ago
Its best to have the person start around the age of 10-13 so they're fingers get used to plucking the strings.

does any1 know how to buy a good guqin?
rinwhr 3 years ago
shame on me, it is guqin, has 7 trings, quzheng has 21 trings

I meditate to this song but I don't know it's name. This is my favorite instrument. Wish I could play one.

Hey everyone, i#d like to know wich instrument guzheng or guqin is harder to play, im very interessted in learning to play one of these.
scher111 4 years ago
Difficulty should not be your primary consideration in deciding which to play. They have totally different characters.

Gulin is easy during your earlier time, but it is hard to understand the deep meaning hiding in each song.

maybe he should focus on his feeling of "deep". His gesture is just like he's playing a zither - too sissy.
wanggengubl 5 years ago
maybe you should learn more about what is really good of playing guqin. hard doesn't mean good, but it do sounds good for the entry levels.
