  • unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • MAGUNATIP DANCE FROM SABAH MALAYSIA..MOONSOI...AM.....

  • ang tanga talaga nya mga kababayan. Dear southeastasian brothers, please forgive the stupidity of some of our countrymen.

  • Tinikling is originated in the Philippines,in a region of Visayan Islands. If you dance using a bamboo that is called a Bamboo dance but not tinikling dance.Tinikling words comes from a bird called tikling of whom people wants to catch a bird using bamboo sticks, and ask visayan guy on how to walk tinikling and why?

  • Fellow Filipinos, please don't embarrass the rest of us with your ignorance. Not all bamboo dances originate from the Philippines! Know your history. High civilizations have been thriving in present day Malaysia and Indonesia even before the current day Philippines became inhabited by Malayo-Polenesian tribes. We might have been the first to put the "bamboo dances" on the world stage but that doesn't mean we were the first to come up with it. Ignorant pinoys shouldn't be allowed online.

  • Sa lahat ng ignoranteng at tangan mga Pinoy na nagpopost...before you guys even post a comment make sure you know what the hell you guys are talking about...your claims of the origins of this dance bode well of how ignorant you are..Nakakahiya kayo. You give shame more that credit to your country...idiots!

  • I am Filipina. Do not assume that because a dance uses bamboo sticks, that automatically it originated in the Philippines. Think of the origins of the Filipino people with the Indonesian and Malay influence. They have their own dances that may look similar, but are not from our Philippine dances (more likely we got it from them!), so do not say that the singkil or the tinikling are the originals. Give the other countries credit for their ethnic heritage as well.

  • @ctg21361 Cmon! It is originally filipino... even if we descend from indo-malay... Do we have to tell other people our history? we came from malaysia... and people in malaysia came from the indian subcontinent... and those people came from indo valley... from adam and eve... you want to give credit? right?

  • you will see the original one search Singkil philippines

  • @juntome SPoken like a true ignoramus...

  • @juntome BIG BOO BOO! Ignorant filipinos shouldn't be allowed online. Nakakahiya ka.

  • wow........

  • Search for the video of singkil leyte

  • w w w . youtube . c o m/watch?v=oFSWZYS2t_o

  • it was originated in the philippines as TINIKLING.

  • @normanesposdelima This is an ethnic dance from Malaysia, which had been passed thorugh the genrations even before there was a country called the Philippines and before the Spanish even set foot in Cebu...The music of the TINIKLING on the other hand is played a Philippine Bandurria which was derived fro the SPANISH Banduaria, an obvious fussion...What the hell are you talking about kid? Where is your bloody proof that TINIKLING is the original???

  • @MrRathbun Hello Sir. Although it is taught in schools that the Philippines was populated by Malays and Indonesians, modern anthropologists now believe it is the other way around. Current belief is that people of the northern Pacific islands (like Guam) migrated east to Formosa (now Taiwan) and then spread south to the Philippines, then further south to Indonesia and Malaysia, eventually reaching as far east as Sri Lanka and Madagascar in Africa.

  • @jzalvidea Sure no argument there...But you are missing the point! For idiots to assume the the Philippine bamboo dances are the original with any spec of proof is STUPID AND DUMB...Indon, Malays, Pinoys, Maoris, Kadhazans, adjao, Hawaiian, Chomorros and as far as Rapa nui and Madagascar are ALL part of the Austronesian peoples. But for idiots to claim that this is originally form Phils is unfounded and an embarrasement?.

  • @jzalvidea Besides if modern anthropology is to be believed, and that the migration came from north to south rather than the eastern migration theory that the "old theory" suggests. Then we owe everything to the native Taiwanese then? Because as your logic suggests since they were the first of our kind then they must have invented every thing that we and our ancestors do and did, right? If your logic is to followed, then arnis, eskrima, kali is the forerunner of Silat then???

  • @MrRathbun It would be wonderful to see the day more evidence is discovered to help modern day anthropologists put together these missing pieces of the puzzle. As of now, there is no solid evdence of the true origin of the bamboo dance. My educated guess would be, wherever bamboo grows is a possible origin. It may have started simultaneously in different places.

  • @jzalvidea Where did you read this? wikipedia? It would be cool if you can give me a link... I'm interested to know more. Thanks!

  • @DLostSheep Try wikipedia- Prehistory of the Philippines. There are 3 main theories.

  • @normanesposdelima Ignoramus.

  • @andok888 then why is it that "tinikling" always comes first and more often when you search for "bamboo dance"? and they always say that it was originated in leyte.. hindi po ako nagma2galing, pls correct me if i'm wrong.

  • @normanesposdelima Thats your proof!!!! Are you serious??? Kung hindi ka nagmamgamgaling eh bakit kung magsalita eh parang "matter of fact"??? Do you even know how the google search works??? Are you that seriously intellectually challenged and impaired??? Iho, pasensya na strong words ko pero this WAVE OF STUPIDITY on the internet must stop!

  • as far as i know, MIZO people from MIZORAM, INDIA are the best in this bamboo dance. they broke world' Guinness book by this dance in 2003 for they performed with around 30,000 dancers and 700 settings at the same place at the same time. this is really amazing and epoch-making. MIZO PEOPLE ARE THE BEST IN BAMBOO DANCE IN THE WORLD. anyway, i am not Mizo.

  • @kukunou The record was broken in On 12 March 2010 by Mizos "Cheraw Dancer" in North East India

  • @yt532em Well, for all you know, the dance may have come from Borneo.. Stop making claims without legitimate historical facts to back up your claims. Every dance is unique to the culture they come from, and it is reflected in the sound that accompanies the dance.

  • @yt532em: what? haha.. you cannot say like this groundless talk. bamboo dance is a traditional dance that we most of Asian people have in common. you check, and find out that in many parts of Asia, this dance is performed in their own way of setting and costume and even their significant way of performing. so, you mean, all of them came to the Philippines and learned from you people? wahaha....so funny. no one knows its origin. but just know this is our common thing.

  • @kukunou i agree wid u.
