  • This was my show!!!

  • this is jesus's number #1 song of the judgment day. i wanna be a judge like judge harry.

  • I loved this show when I was a kid, I always watched it with my mom.

  • I used to love watching this show in the morning. I was to young to be alive during its original run, but I found it hilarious.

  • lol Family Guy

  • Personally my favorite season of NC.

  • I'm no expert, but from what I've heard, the all night small claims courts really do see their share of weirdness. Its where the guy who streaks at a football game gets sent.

  • Damn I rember this show, I cought parts of it when I was 8

  • Family Guy had Bill Clinton playing this theme on the sax. Funny.

  • My friend's mom walked in on him masturbating to this show when he was 13! HAHA!

  • I miss this show and I miss New York City. The city I got engaged last year in! Thanks for the upload.

  • i watched this when it was on TV Land for a few months...not a bad show

  • who was the one dislike? seriously who would click on this and then dislike it?

  • My god I used to love night court. Especially this damn theme

  • This is crazy..Everytime I llok at the end of this intro, it reminds me of the Twin Towers. RIP 9/11 victims...

  • Reminds me of Feels So Good by Chuck Mangione

  • this theme is alright but that barney miller theme is the funkiest ever

  • is it just me or does harry anderson kinda look like dana carvey?

  • this was my ringtone for so long

  • You can have me........ Eheheheheeeeeeewww!

  • @achilleskid820 in the kitchen MEG?!!!

  • Let me guess, you came here after watching Billy Clinton in Family Guy.

  • @RazielFallenAngel totally.

  • @RazielFallenAngel Nope. I came here because I used to love the fuck out of this show when it was airing for the first time. I actually don't care much for Family Guy. I actually wonder how many people watch that show and don't even get half the references anyway.

  • @RazielFallenAngel yep :-)

  • @RazielFallenAngel i have here actualy cause im looking for camron rapping over a night court theme beat

  • @RazielFallenAngel {sigh} yeah.... I'm sorry......sorry :,(

  • @RazielFallenAngel HOW THE HELL DID U KNOW LOL

  • Richard moll looks like Kane

  • @SnowDog0 OOOOOK.

  • oh my god, ftw the 80s were awesome. this just took me back to being like three and sneaking out to the living room after bedtime to watch night court. "GET BACK IN BED. your too young to watch this"

  • BULL

  • this the shit!!! and horse and carrage remix by camron : D

  • Some of my earliest memories as a kid were of this show.

  • To think I used to consider Markie Post to be hot.

  • @tzkelley she is

  • Using this as a ring tone now :)

  • Comment removed

  • what's that instrument at 0:05?

  • @xBASSBOOMx I believe that is a bass guitar.

  • @jw870206 that quiet "woooo"?

  • @xBASSBOOMx I didn't hear that at all. I listen to my iPod way too loud, my hearing must be going. lol It could be a synthesizer or one of the instrumentalists vocalizing.

  • @xBASSBOOMx - I don't know but I've heard it in a couple of Dave Matthews Band songs from the 90s. Can't remember which ones, though. It's got to be some form of percussion.

  • @rickhh1 You're thinking of a cuica, or rather a synthesized one. General midi has two of them, an open and a mute. But the instrument at 05 is, in fact, a bass. You're hearing a high harmonic, and the string being bent behind the nut most likely. The harmonic between the 2nd and 3rd fret most likely.

  • i miss the twin towers so much

  • Que buenos esos 80................

  • Right when the song is about to end, press 7 and that is what I've frequently had stuck in my head since 1989.

  • @jimmykinkade lol

  • The people at the beginning smoking on the subway think they are so, so cool.

  • @castingtherunes Don't you know that loitering in the subway is the coolest?

  • Night Court is one the greatest sitcoms of all time...Clever humour, perfectly cast.

  • Love this show dame we don't have 80's show anymore just garbage now sorry for the new generation coming up.

  • I used to LOVE this show. So hillarious.

  • lmao Bull is the first Highlander villain from the series..names, "Slade"

  • Homestar: "Spin my buzzer!"

    Strong Bad "Your what?!"

Homestar: "My buzzer! give it a spin!"

Strong Bad: "Oh, WHY am I doing this?" *spins*

Homestar: "DOOOOO......DOO DOO DOO DOO...... DOO! DOO! DOO!"

Strong Bad: "And you're singing the theme from Night Court?"

Homestar: "Not singing! When you spin my buzzer it PLAYS the theme from night court starring Richard Moll. Had it custom installed!"

  • I never could shake from my mind how much Charles Robinson looked like a black Ernest Borgnine.

  • When I was young I never watched this for all the obvious reasons. I reckon if I saw this on nowadays now that I am older, I would probably enjoy this show.

  • @bigd23608 what are the obvious reasons? I guess they're not obvious to me.

  • @bigd23608 I was a child. A lot of stuff on this show was a bit mature for a child. Back then I was more interested in cartoons and whatnot. Those obvious reasons. Kids don't usually care for sitcoms believe it or not.

  • so 80's, even right down to the sax.

  • Idiots that reference Family Guy in the comments will be summarily banned. That is all.

  • SPIN MY BUZZER

  • Sigh...Sexaphone Therapy........

    LMAO!!

  • Just had to watch this after seeing it on Family Guy... One of my fav theme songs :D

  • Cam'ron - Horse and Carriage Remix

    It sampled this song

  • Sooo....I just woke up from a dream that had this song playing in the background. I woke up and was like, "Night Court?" Lol...weird....

  • Needs more cowbell

  • @azianricefarts LOLOOLOL!

  • Americans have the meanest TV sitcom jingles bar none

  • Actually, Night Court made this song famous..

  • Family Guy made this song famous!

  • @TheTsugnawmi2010 you're an idiot

  • @Timmy5000 :(

  • the nyc of my youth, for better or worse. =) classic. don't ya miss when tv themes were all jazzy like this?

  • WHEN SITCOMS WHERE FUNNY!!!!!!

  • The World Trade Center in the opening scene. :(

  • @ krophiquon Well I guess if you're a Homosexual you wouldn't care for him much. Might I suggest Will and Grace, unless your just some ugly feminist chick in which case get back in the kitchen and make my supper.

  • Thanks.

  • Man, Dan Fielding was the shit.

  • that photo of the court house is very shopped to the point it makes me wonder WTF IS THE POINT!

  • I remember the episode when Markie Post revealed her cleavage. A remarkable rack she had indeed!

  • I see that Dreamgirls was running at the time this was filmed.

  • BillClinton on family guy ftw

  • I used to think Richard Moll was hot in a scary kinda way lol.

  • This is much better than the shit we have nowadays.

  • @dxdragondude TOTALLY agree with you. I used to watch this stuff all the time back in the day. Now i don;t watch ANY TV whatsoever. Kinda sad. I miss this stuff.

  • That's one hell of a song for being forty seconds long. One of the best themes, no doubt.

  • the people at 0:03 were clearly smoking cannabis. It looks like a guy from Rick James's entourage.

  • This show needs to be in syndication

  • Mom craved 2 things while pregnant: Night Court and salted pork. This is the theme of all my prenatal memories.

  • right b4 golden girls and Arsenio

  • See folks Night Court was one of those shows on tv we used to call FUNNY!!!!

Now we get brain-dead teen socialites and a 19-kid family reality shows as modern day television.

  • @thisisrumorcontrol You're lucky, man. My mum gave me birth in 1990 and now I can't turn on my TV due to the teenage crap that's ruining billions of brains around the world. The only show that keeps me alive by now is "Family Guy".

  • That steaming manhole cover at the beginning, when I was a kid I used to be absolutely fascinated with it, wondering what was going on, why it was making smoke like that

  • @bastlake It's because all the rats were having a smokeout in the sewer.

  • The part that begins at 0:27 reminds me of Password Plus.

  • i would only want to go to court at night, so i can be out in time for mcdonalds breakfast at like 6 am

  • I used to (hell, I still do) love this show - it was so smart and funny! And the theme is the best! It's so darn catchy!

I'm not old enough to remember Selma, but in reruns she is SO funny (I started watching in 1985 or 1986 - I remember Roz the best). I was about 3 when I first saw this show - I have always loved it.

  • Best theme song EVER! Sucha suave and relaxing beat.. It just screams COOLNESS..

  • Days in the courtroom, aren't much fun

Come to the night court, everyone

    Your frowns on trial

    Approach my smile

I sentence you to stay a while.

  • couger alert!! markie post, my first crush!

  • Isn't Richard Moll a prisoner on MSNBC Lockup now?

  • OMG Markie Post.........do they come any hotter than her? I don't think so. Absolute perfection!!!

  • did u listen to this from family guy? it was AWSOME and funny

  • This show was awesome! They don't make em like this anymore!

  • ahh the good old days

  • omg i just got pounced in the face by nostalgia

  • LOL, nice.

  • awesome show, late 80s, this, Alf, Wonder Years, Cheers, even before the Simpsons

  • I love how pretty Marsha Warfield is at the end!

  • Is it just me or is John Larroquette one of the coolest dudes ever?

  • He ruled in Stripes and Meatballs 2.

  • @KinisonisKing it isn't just you

  • @KinisonisKing

    it's just you.

  • @KinisonisKing Just you..

  • @KinisonisKing its just you.

  • Holy SHIT I forgot about that guy Bull.

    That dude was nutz lol

  • Why does HArry's change everytime, but Macks doesnt? And whats up with those poeple smoking weed at the beggining?

  • @Bastionx18x yeah!!! and Dans only changes twice (looking pompous while smoking a pipe...then looking smug at his desk, as seen above lol) And while everyone is stock footage from episodes, Harry's is him mugging for the camera...maybe I am overthinking this waaaaay too much haha

  • Night Court was so awssome. This was one of the few shows that always made me laugh whenever I saw it. I never saw one boring episode.

  • wow i remember this

  • I'm buying this DVD. I hope they have it at Wal-Mart. If not I have to go to the mall. I know they'll have it there at a store I go to all the time. :) This was one of my favorites especially with Marsha Warfield. Does anyone remember the Marshall Warfield show?

  • yeah its an actual court building in manhattan if you ever look at law and order its the same one,

  • LOL...You know your New York. In reference to the building in Manhattan.

  • Does anyone know the name of the court they show at 10 secs. Is it an actual court in NYC?

  • I like watching the 3 taxis zoom by really fast at 0:04.

  • Sometimes when I hear this, I remember seeing Bill Clinton on Family Guy playing this on his sax.

  • @vigo894 omg! my son and i just saw that fam guy so i had to show him this. jeez im old

  • @vigo894 , Watching Family Guy is actually what made me look this up.. Funny stuff.

  • @punkrockr0202002 me too i think thats why alot of people did

  • @vigo894 haha that Family Guy episode is what made me search for this vid... now reaning about the composer on wikipedia ...oooh family guy.

  • @vigo894 LOL

  • @vigo894 Dude, I just saw this episode in a rerun and couldn't for the life of me remember what TV song it was. Had to look it up. Now it's stuck in my head.

  • @vigo894 they just played that episode! LOL!

  • @vigo894 lol me2

  • @vigo894 JUST saw that episode 2 seconds ago, LOL. Thats why Im here

  • Is that Smith's Bar the tow truck drives by at 0:34 still there?

  • they sure as hell used the shit out of yellow text in the 80s/90s!

  • This is my favorite theme song

  • I always preferred "Dan Smoking" to "Dan smiling and folding his hands".

  • I'd never prefer anyone to smoke no matter how it looks. Yuck! LOL Unhealthy.

  • This is one show that I think should actually be brought back. Maybe not the same actors, but I can see this show being a hit even today.

  • I can agree with that, but for those of us that follwed the original from beginning to end, I'm not sure it would fly with us. Kind of stuck on the original peoiple, you know.

  • Night Court is and always will be the shit! I love it!

  • nyc was fucking skeevy in the 80's and early 90's

  • I am a huge night court show fan.I wish they would put the reruns back on tnt.

  • Bull was the man!!!!!!!

  • Bull FTW :D

  • that blonde was stunning

  • LOL oh that zany Night Court. Phenomenal !!

  • This is Win.

  • YEAH BABY

  • Coolest sitcom theme song ever! Next to Barney Miller of course.

  • Absolutely

  • Where is the little old lady that would boss Bull around and had a cigarette hanging off her lower lip???

  • If you are referring to the old bailiff, that would be Selma Diamond; she died after the second season.

  • Thanks for the info, she was good in that role.

  • one of my favorite theme songs...

  • idiot.

  • Markie Post had the greatest hair on this show

  • I love the shot of John Larroquette in this one, it shows what a sleazebucket he was on this show.

  • The Brooklyn Bridge. The Twin Towers. The "A" train. A NYPD Gran Fury in classic 80's color scheme. The steps of the Manhattan Courthouse. Classic New York!!

  • Looks like New York. I love New York and the Night Court theme and the show. Had lots of laughs watching it.

  • yea this is new york and this show was funny as hell i love this show too bad shows arent like this nowadays

  • I lvoe HArry Andersons face, its priceless :D

  • looks like new york. i hate new york. i love the theme music though.

  • There was also an opening shot of Harry similiar to the one here. He's looking for his gavel under some papers and then he finds it above them.
