i work on wall st -- on the nyse - we pretty much banned CNBC in our booth

and i heard from one of my customers at a investment bank -- they banned it on their trading desk also

apparently all the garbage spewed by these dopes is hurting business when regurgitated by their traders to clients

Holy crap. I don't watch much CNBC, but I've been looking at some segments on youtube...is it usually this bad?

So far, I've seen very little useful information, and very few people who appear to really know what they're talking about. It's mostly just hyperactive hosts making sound effects, wild hand gestures, and vague talking points.
