How is not OBVIOUS to anyone who talks to this man that he is a duplicitous snake-in-the-grass?

Surely, it is dangerous to assume someone is lying or not genuine without proof based on their mannerisms or looks, but to me, it is just plain obvious that Tommy Davis is an agent sent out by the Church of Scientology to delude interviewers.
