Thats just rapping man. Theres rhythm in it and ya have to keep on beat. If ya stand there rigid while rapping it will sound awkward and uncomfortable. No black american walks around waving their hands like that in day to day life. They do it when they rap, as do rappers all over the world.

@YourManNugget Yeah i understand that but why do it in the video cos its just lip syncing so no need to stay on beat as its pre recorded? It just loses credibility when its portrayed in that kinda american "gangsta" way which isnt even selling now as most rappers are now releasing tracks with more of a dance music feel with less of a "im more violent than you" feel, i dont think the irish lads look ridiculous I just think they might be overlooked as decent poets due to the involvement with rap.

If ya watch x factor most singers will move their hands in a particular way when they sing. Rapping is the same. I understand what your getting at but its not about a look or anything.
