And if you weight 500 pounds, you can't justify it by saying you have a lot of water and muscle weight. If you are overweight or obese you are at a greater risk of developing things like heart disease and diabetes. So it does matter what you weigh.

I agree, a very petite woman should be around 100. And the weight standards should be lower for men as well. A 5'10" man should be 150-160 lbs, not 180, unless he's very muscular and ripped.
