  • Wait what if your E string is like a B or something? That is what confuses me....

  • right and high do not rhyme lol but other then that great vid!

  • My tuner is a clip on tuner. the tuner worked for the first 3 weeks and then the tuner went totally off. The thing might be broken but the needle works if that matters for a broken tuner. What do i do?

  • Thank you!

    Your a life saver!

  • the needle doesnt work on mine

  • thanks man! i needed this! =)

  • i hate my tuner i want a tuner like urs :P

  • Okay, I got a guitar today with a tuner. I can't seem to understand how to use the tuner. I set it to "guitar" at 440 Hz.

When I play my lowest frequency E stri, and it doesn't show E1 on screen, but another chord. It just seems so random which chord it shows- keeps changing. I don't know why =S Please help!

  • @CrimsonSuperNova what tuner do you have? I have a Fisherman FT-1 digital tuner, When i use it, it detunes my guitar! I can tune my guitar to ther 70th% but the tuner tunes it to the -80% percent (on my opinion)

  • what number of Hz do you use for each string?

  • how long does it take for a guitar string to 'get old'? please answer

  • you did help me tune it because i had a guitar and i just bought a tuner and i didnt know how to use it but know i see how the tuner works thans man

  • Do you use Hz 440 on all strings? :)

  • @GuitarSamuelsson ACTUALLY, you should use A = 432, not A = 440 as a tonal center. All kinds of reasons why- just google it.

  • my guitar sounds weird when i tuned it....

  • Thanks for the video.. I have an ENO 3000+ Chromatic tuner for my Acoustic (I am very much the beginner!) and it seems to work fine in just the way you demonstated your own tuner. One question... My tuner can be set to frequenies between 430Hz - 450Hz. What is the correct frequency and does it effect accurate tuning?

  • Thank you.

  • thanks mate for ur video xx happy christmas xx

  • Is it true that the older the strings are, the faster they get out of tune?

  • Hmmm...maybe if they are very old--the main problem with old strings is that they sound flat and uninspired.

  • thanks man helped me alot.

  • i bought a tuner today. it worked fine and i got my guitar tune but when i was going to show it for my friend how it works. it didnt do shit. the arrow doesnt move at all and yea i pluck the right note

  • It's hard to say without seeing it. It could be a number of things...the battery, the cable, the tuner itself. You might have pressed a different setting button by accident. Are you able to show it to another guitar player or check it out at the store you bought it from?

  • Thank you! Glad it worked out. Keep rockin'!

  • thanks man, this really helped me out! :D
