I was in that festival - MSEC 2006! You were from Sarasota, right? I remember you because you accompanied one of the mass choir songs and helped my school with page turning during our individual performance. It's nice to see your performance again. You are very talented. Keep up with the good work, Andrew!
i enjoyed this performance. I am curious that this is described as an offertory. As the occasional organist at a Methodist church in the UK I play quiet music for the offertories - but if a bigger collection is taken when something like this is played, maybe I should reconsider!
Thank you very much! I was the accompanist for a huge choir festival (600 vocalists), and I played one classical piece and an arrangement of my own (another youtube video) during the offertory. Thanks!
Your other video is equally impressive. You are very accomplished at 18. The concept of having flamboyant piano solos in the context of church services or similar activities is (alas) something that seems to be confined to the US. I'm sure that before long I may see you on TV on the 'Hour of Power'!
That would be a blessing for me. I am just going to follow what God has for me, and I cannot fail! I've always ben involved with religious festivals and church services, etc., and I have strictly solo concerts, too. I also appreciate the comment on the other video!
keep up the good work.
