Sorry if its not what you where after, if its any help just run along the edge of water and the many lakes you find.

You'll run into more than enough nirnroot, just a little tedious.

Oh i was talking about you can use duped items for quests i got the xbox version so i cant dupe nirnroots :( just google oblivion cheats for nirnroot you'll come across one eventually
