  • can somebody tab out the first few notes in the original song. the rest is just A# Pentatonic?

  • @ThunderThorikda Its not hard to search google 'red house tabs'

  • Thanks for sharing

  • great track!!

  • Now i dont need to my BAND hahahahahaha

  • This one is nice and steady!

  • don't know this song but holy shit is it fun messing around with

  • I have to point out this is a standard blues progression you don't have to sound like Jimi to use this as a practicing tool. As far as the other guy goes read my comment it says tune your guitar a half step down; though this is not required.... Thanks

  • thank you, very very VERY MUCH

  • blues blues blues

  • thanks save me some time..

  • out of pitch.

  • I haven't played like that in a while. Nice backing!!

  • thanks for posting!!!!!!!!! SO GREAT TO SPEND AN AFTERNOON Jamming!

  • love this thanks

  • aagh shit my guitar is on fire!

  • @MillerCaster0 EXCELLENT.!...It's supposed to be!!!........As part of his live act Hendrix used to pour lighter fuel over his guitar and set fire to it!!!Does anyone know if there's any footage of this rare phenomenon?

  • @ToneDeafecation Yes, if you download or buy Jimi Hendrix Live at Monterey Pop Festival Video, he does it at the end. What people dont know is that he smashed many stratocasters but only burned one.

  • This is BS really, need to do it yourself instead. crap.

  • @blackdude57 No, it's in A#/Bb

Great backing track, had a lot of fun playing to this. And I'm sure I will have more fun with it in the future. Thanks!

  • This is really good, but it is a little bit fast.

  • Woh!

  • I can't stop jamming over this

  • Fucken GREAT !

  • where can i get this backing track and others

  • This track is awsome, I recorded guitar and vocals over it, so if you want to learn the licks, check it out on my profile or here in the video response section!

  • youtube.com/watch?v=BKkhEtkV6w8

  • Excellent backing track!!! For those who don't know the key is Bflat so either tune your guitar a half step down, or move down a half step. And in case you really don't know b is on the 7th fret of the low E that will be your root note. You play the pentatonic blues scale on starting with the 7th fret if your tuned a half step down... If your standard tuned play it starting on the 6th fret... Hopefully this is helpful to someone!!! I would also recommend trying the major pentatonic on this too

  • @expandwhatyousee yeah kinda hard to solo when you dont know what the root is haha

  • @expandwhatyousee THANK YOU FOR THAT INFO- i know alotta of blued tuned hald step low and i was thinkin it was c..thanks all these trask should have the key its in..............

  • @expandwhatyousee THANK YOU FOR THAT INFO- i know alotta of blues tuned half step low specially stevieandhendrix thanks for the key thought it was c

  • @expandwhatyousee I have to point out that if you need to be told where B-flat is, you probably won't be able to play any semblance of Red House.

  • @taurusclimber I was thinking the same thing.

  • @expandwhatyousee: Hendrix always tuned his guitar a half step low, helps with bending the strings you know.

  • @paullubliner yep that's true. A lot of guitar players probably know this. Plus sources that can be purchased for learning how to play some of Jimi's songs can explain this.

  • 2:09 solo

  • 2 people that disliked it, didn't know the key!!!! (million thumbs up) .gay

  • ib jammed out to this track with no amp for like a month now and it never gets old or boring

  • Just improvised to this, sounds great singing along, soloing anything that sounds right - every so often I hear one of the parts in my head and play it

    Awesome!

  • Where can I download this from?

  • awesome backing track i love playing solos with it on my electric guitar!!

P.S. my guitar is awesome its signed by kirk hammet from metallica and they only made 100 of the same guitars signed by him!

  • great backing track!!

  • Holy crap that was fun anything you play sounds like Hendrix, thanks. P.S. what key is this is in?

  • Nice

  • If u can't find the pic anyone u can take it from the video.

In the keyboard there is a bottom somewhere near the delete button that says scn print, or something like that, I'm not on my computer right know. This button allows u to take a picture of what ever it u see at that moment on the monitor. Go to the pic u want off the video, press the scn print button. Now go to paint and press paste, then use the cut thingy on paint to just get the picture.

Its ghetto but it works, I do it all the

  • @Hornybroham Thats all i did

  • Does any one know how I can get the picture from behind him lookin out int the crowd. like the first one. PLEASE!!

  • @TheToogy The pictures i got for this video is from the DVD live at woodstock. just a simple click to take photo of frame.

  • @TheToogy yt

  • @TheToogy Nah, man you want to get like Santana from the back. People as far as you could see. By Monday morning the crowd had been cut down to estimates as little as 30,000 a far cry from the half million the day before. Funny though, since then I have met tons of Woodstock attendees, 99% of them claimed to have stayed for Jimi. Hmm. I wasn't there, but real close,.an 8 year old visting grandparents a mile or so up the road. It was spooky to say the least in the quietest place I knew.

  • @TheToogy print screen dude, the button above delete and insert , then go to paint, and push plate grafting

cut your picture, there you are, gret $mitje

  • @TheToogy TAKE IT FROM FOXY LADY

  • @TheToogy

When the picture shows up on your screen, hit the button on your keyboard that says some like "Print Scrn" or "Print Screen/SysRq" which will take a screenshot of what ever is on your screen, go to paint or your preferred image software and press Ctrl + V to paste it. Crop out what you dont dont want, and Wala!

  • This is awesome, last time I was at the rock n roll hall of fame they had his stuff their. I probably spent and hour their listen to music and watching the interview with his dad. Everyone I was with moved on, and I couldn't find them. Lol

  • Definitely the best Red House backing on youtube, the others sound hollow and don't bring out the best in anyones playing.

  • great work !!

  • nice one bryan

  • Thank You

  • great backing track. all the other red house backing tracks on youtube are terrible cause they are cheesy midi sounding and in B instead of B flat.

  • The backing track sounds great. I'm going to do one in the next day or so. Haven't done any new vids for a long time.

  • is there a way to download this as mp3 file? btw this is in e-flat right?

  • b flat

  • You can pull it from your temp internet files as an FLV file. You will have to change the extension. Then, you'll have to convert it to mp3.

  • thanks man

  • this is such a fun track to play along with, probably my favorite

  • Awesome, count me in. Not a fan of competition when it comes to blues playing but it's a chance to get some feedback on my playing I guess.

  • Thanx, the best background so far! I've used it on my track here at YouTube... :-)

  • Thx...would be great !!!

  • This is the only right studio backing-track,

    i used it myself...Thanks,

    *****

    Kurt...

  • mm what a release, better than mediocre sex

  • where can we get mp3 file?

    thanks

  • ya man it sounds more jimi like in B flat

    thanks for the post!

  • no problem, im glad you like it. this is the best backing track for this song that i have found.

  • @xtremeshredder i THINK IT IS!B FLAT

  • great!!

  • This was exactly what I was looking for, a Red House backing track in its actual key Bb.

  • Yeah cool if you down tune. yoyoyo, Some of the modern audio editors even the unrestricted "free" version of REAPER will let you pitch up and down very cleanly. If you have a Video downloader, get the file open it in a small free prog called FLVExtract and choose extract audio then drop it on or import into REAPER or comparable pitch it up or down. If you want export in whatever format you need for your portable player.

  • me too!! nice post!! thanks
