  • Those outfits ,for me, still innovative n stunning so far.

  • There first two pieces are amazing, when I first saw this collection 3 years ago, I was like wow, but now I'm not so sure I like it anymore.

  • first song antonin dvorak temps de valse

  • Girls That Love Handbags, confirm here. * GirlieRewards. Info *

  • Omg those glasses!! 15 of those made it to the states and there's a sunglasses store in my town that got two pairs! $1200!!! A little pricey!

  • simply cut makes the great moment collection

  • wow

  • Great collection!!! Lanvin forever.... Please, music at 5:38... I love it...

  • what's the name of the girl 3:48-3:58? her look is gorgeous

  • Georgina Stojilkovic

  • what a great comeback

  • perfect i looooove it

  • 5:03-5:05 Maryna Linchuk works it :))

  • at 8th, this model did good job on hideous clothe!!! Her face made this clothe looks good! :D

  • I die for those shoes!

    Works of perfection

  • The best collection of all labels this year! As more girls came it just got better and better, and he completely shut tha game down as far as eyewear!!!!

  • Notice Natasha's earrings fall off!

  • In other video, it is more apparent, one earring swinging and glimmering like a tumultuous sea, and suddenly disappears, while coincidentally a glimmer briefly appears on the runway floor for only a moment (perhaps, as in other shows, a spectator snatched it for the sake of editorial perfection, or perhaps as a personal memento of a moment at a front row at a Lanvin show..)

  • any top models on here want a poor ugly bloke hanging off their arm as their boyfriend?

  • nadie mejor que elbaz para la casa lanvin su trabajao es fabuloso y me hace sentir muy bien

  • the slo mo is annoying

  • Alber Elbaz sky rocketed the brand to its highest pediment. I never would have know Lanvin if they did not created last Fall 08 Gothic romance collection. It was a hit. Balenciaga fallowed it and all the retail store were selling Black, leather and chains. This collection oozes confidence, specially the Blue leopard print dress which Maggie Gylanhal wore at the Golden Globes. Every retail store is selling leopard print clothing in multiple hues. Brilliant collection, Brilliant designer!

  • That's not correct. Ghesquiere at Balenciaga drew inspiration from the Balenciaga archives, and from Thierry Mugler's spring 1998 couture collection, as well as from his own aesthtic. Black is part of the Balenciaga code; Christobal's use of black was noted during his lifetime, as being not black, but the blackest black. Ghesquiere's fall 2008 collection was shown 5 days BEFORE Aber's for Lanvin, making it impossible Balenciaga drew inspiration from Lanvin.

  • And furthermore, Ricardo Tischi did leather pants and heavy gold tone chain accessories at Givenchy.

  • I do appologize. I found that Givenchy did the gothic romance as well, just like Lanvin for Fall 08! Its just that Creative director of Fashion Houses are too confusing to identify. thanks for the correction though! Do you subscribe at Elle biannual collection mag. That is pretty much my source. Well thanks again. I hope there is alot of people commenting on this you tube show substantially. Tim Blanks of STYLE is the only one seems to do it.

  • I do not; rather, I read books. Books published contemporarily, and books published within their own time scape. Rather than Elle, which barely manages to capture a fragment of time (however I mean no denigration), I am a subscriber to fashion history and intelligence, which is echoed by William Blake's theories on English language, in which fashion constantly references itself, destroying yet reforming, and fashion is a paradox; it is simultaneously about 'before' and what is next.

  • And I feel Jeanne Lanvin's own designs, accepted by society, royalty, the common woman, and her contemporary designers, rocketed the brand to its highest point (as opposed to Alber's designs, which, while very good, pale in comparison to Jeanne's). The Rizzoli publication on her work and life is simply a must. It is just perfect.

  • please who is the model at 6:32?

  • Mariana Idzkowska

  • Thank you so much

  • what is the 1 song?

  • LOVE lily donaldson at the begining of the vid :)

  • huh???

  • Serenade for Strings in E Major, Op.22, II. Tempo Di Valse is the name of the first song that is classical.

  • Are you sure? Because I've listened to this song on the internet but they're not alike. You know. The one on the Internet is more uhm smooth i think.

  • tanya dziahileva can work any garment, even though the garment is not very pretty.

  • Expand on that please!

  • Anyone knows the track that start from 8:21? Thank you.

  • u dnt understand i would killl!!!! to get my hand on that blue leopard print dress!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!

  • Lanvin does it again!! As a former runway model myself, and ex Valium addict I can say "Great show"!!!! If I was a girl I would be so buying these clothes!! But as a 6 ft 1 inch muscular man I wear Prada, oh well. Givency close my mouth, drooling isnt attractive!

  • hahaa

  • Goodness - some of these models are far too thin. I can see Kate Sommers' spine from a mile away, and the model at 6:40? Look at her arms and chest - those are strong indicators of someone with an eating disorder. Furthermore what's with her eyes? Cocaine? And I am not operating on stereotypes, but rather experience.

  • what kind?

  • What kind of what? I'm sorry, I don't understand that indefinite reference.

  • I am so sorry, i ment What Kind of experience have you had?

  • green apples & coffee for 5 months 1st year university. how i miss those days... however this is perhaps not the most suitable venue for one's problems, and i hadn't really planned to expand on that here. it's not quite appropriate.

  • I respect that, thank you.

  • what jackass gave that a negative?

  • Simple and Clean (Planit B Remix) by Utada Hikaru

Tristes Apprêts, Pâles Flambeaux by Jean-Philippe Rameau

(This is the version from the Marie Antoinette motion picture soundtrack.)

String Quartet No. 4 (Buczak): Movement I by Philip Glass

(Found on the album "Kronos Quartet Performs Philip Glass")

Come Back Baby by Jefferson Airplane

Don't You Want Somebody to Love by Jefferson Airplane

Feel Alive (Sunloverz Club Mix) by ATB

Gonna Get along Without You Now by Viola Willis (12" Vinyl remixed)

  • is this the order its in.

  • The whole collection is fantastic but the most amazing moment of the show was when Sessilee walked out in that blue leopard dress!! Holy cow, how cool was that!

  • great collection as always, alber elbaz is amazing! one of my favourite designers

  • The first song is Antonin Dvorak but which symphony????

  • Anyone knows the classical piece played at the beginning?

  • yea but its some sort of mix

do you know whats the mix

  • Love Lanvin. So beautiful :')

  • This show is one of the best that I've seen so far for the ss season. His clothes are always so realistically fantasmic. The atmosphere so electric. It's crazy cool.

  • 1980's....suuuuuuure, we'll go with that even though it was number 4 of the season

  • someone knows the song at 8:16 ???

  • to take that classic beauty of the clothes and to add that industrial zip, it makes for a great contrast...I think Alber Elbaz is one of the best.

  • soundtrack roxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • the song: Jefferson Airplane - Somebody to love

  • everything is like in dream.......

  • I loved the structure of the clothing. Structure should be Alber's secound name as he always puts on a beautiful show and always make's women beautiful. The shoe's were beautiful and the print leopard dresses...

  • what is the music at the end like 5:00

    like rave song

  • Oh, do I have to stop watching this... I thought nothing could replace the powerful woman in gloves and jewels and ribbons from last season and next comes this... Supreme cutting economy :D

  • Love it... It is as goergous as the Lanvin does. And the soundtrack is wonderful... Thanks!

  • thanks so much for uploading^^

  • The first song is a simphony by Dvořák, i dont remember the number.

  • serenade for strings in e major.
