  • extremely helpful. thank you

  • Way to go Larry, good job on this one !

  • @magicmanslim If you used resin you would effectively glue the barrel into the blocks when you applied pressure. Rosin is a white powder used to help with grip. It's the powder in the back behind the pitcher's mound you see them pick up from time to time during a game, and it's what's in the pouch you may have seen climbers have on the back of their belts that they stick their hands in from time to time.

  • @fanofde4ever ah actually climbers use chalk, which helps dry the hands but doesn't necessarily add grip strength

  • @magicmanslim Wikipedia: Rosin

  • @magicmanslim no it isn't, it's definitely "rosin" similar to the powder you see on a chellists or violinists bow.

  • Useful video, Larry. Thanks.

It's nice to see gun folks smiling rather than the usual glower.

  • lol y can u use a normal screw vice?

  • The white powder is just powder rosin. You can use regular powdered rosin sold in sporting goods stores for baseball pitchers rosin bags...

  • Wich kind of product is the white powder put on wood block ?

  • Powdered rosin

  • Good work Larry. How did you grasp the receiver? Couldn't see that part of it.
