  • @geena6 They most certainly were.

Kenny Roberts - gosh - I wish there were more video film from that era.

    Quite welcome also.

    Lloyd.

  • I remember hearing Kenny back in the 60's, He was very popular in the New England area. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!!!

  • @oscarshwartz I wish there was , and hopefully there is, more of Kenny's performances from this time.

    Enjoy

    Lloyd.

  • I was on "The Kenny Roberts Show" back in the early 60's. It was at the Durant hotel in downtown Flint, Mi. It was a special show for handicapped kids, of which my sister was. Somehow my Mom got me on too, but all I remember is it was crammed with people, and not too much fun. I think his show was on from 1961-1966, out of Saginaw, Michigan. His "I never get Maggie alone" is such a catchy song, I listen to it often.

  • @dahur That is very interesting.

Also, KRoberts was shuch a good yodeler.

I was pleased when I found this video.

The audio quality was VERY poor.

Luckily, I have noise reduction on some software I have.

    Anyways, I do enjoy KR's songs - a true Country-yodeler.

  • Kenny is now on MySpace! Write to him!
