i could have done a better job....but i ordered the wrong silicone reducer it was .5 inch to big so i had to cut a slice into it and tighten it with the jubilee clip and tape as a back up.
shit bro well i got a 98 firebird, v6 and i was just gonna put this in it so it sounded good, cause im getting exhaust headers and i thought i would get this for intake, cause i was gonna get k and n but its 351 and this is 100 dollars cheaper.....thanx for the help bro i appreciate it much
seriously......i thought it did.....but other people (on here) say it dont, people that sat with my in the car said they did notice a diff. The only true way to notice would be through a dyno but i never had that done for this car so i cant tell you figure wise.
mine didnt although the switch i had was shit it couldnt handle the 30amp fuse so like if i had it on for too long the switch would burn out.....but then agen it was 2.99 from maplin so i just bought another one n just had it on for when i was racing.
im the 1 doing the fucking & the idiot in question is your mother!!!. these people in these 1.1L cars, who probably benifit the most from these electric induction kits. i suppose most of them dont intend on paying massive amounts to do up their sheds because, they dont intend on keeping the car for life as its a shed, they rag it because they have too, its fun, they learn by crashing, they can pull it off when they sell/scrap the car, even shit ones work really well on 50cc engines
Technically it's not a supercharger, but if you get a good quality one they do work but not close to a turbo or real supercharge, .4bar isn't that impressive, but useful on a N/A Engine
If they made this things out off full metal to withstand heat and put some kind of transmissson/gears in these then we might have something pretty impressive depending on what gears its using producing from 0-as much PSI as the electric motors Torque can handle... Think about it, flip a switch and go from 5psi cruising downtown to a new gear and your at 15+ psi passing some guy on the freeway.
Hey! bro do this thing really works cuz i bought 1 from ebay and i want to know if this thing will really help increased my car's hp and tourque, i need your reply asap
yeh i think they do work, nothing major but to a 1.1 it seemed to make a big difference. i have my twin supercharger for sale and can list it on ebay if you want? the one that was in the 106 above.
i found it helped in the low RPM and didnt really make much difference in the high RPM. it was normal in the high RPM, it was significantly more power then just the induction kit.
LMFAO! you actually beleived this shit? are you retarded? a little pc fan......will improve air flow and lemme guess, did u expect it to add 20hp aswell?
so a pc fan, is going to put in more air then the natural suction of the engine? 1.1 litres at even 1000rpm..... work it out you tit. if it did work so well car manufactures would put them on as standard.......wait...thats a turbo, that runs at 5+psi, not 0.001 from that stupid fan
now i know most of these things are bollocks but the forceflow x4 does 800cfm which means in a low engine size you will most definately notice it
dont be bitter if you got sucked into buying an eram or a bilge pump, you gave up and said ha ets is rubbish, i thought about it before i bought one, fitted it correctly (needs to be AIR TIGHT) and i have increased my engine performance.
most engne mods bar a real turbo and nos cost over 300 and give about 3%mor hp ispent 220 and got an extra 16%
Do you not understand how much air is being sucked in by the engine naturally? Have you considered perhaps that little fan is more in the way then actually helping?
Its like you stepping in to help Mike Tyson in a fight. Its NOT needed.
right 4199litres a minute is 148 cubic feet per minute
you get a an extrctor fan of any sort that can do more than 146cfm you will improove you engines performance even if it is reducing the effort used on the draw stroke,
Eh, right and wrong. You're increasing performance by giving more air for more air/fuel mix, but since electric superchargers just push air at full power no matter the throttle position, there's a chance of running too lean or rich, thus losing power and causing trouble, especially if it's a smaller motor.
it should do, the filter on it is huge and sucks up enough air as it is! but the lil fans do actually help in the lower RPM. well they did for that car...its nothing now compared to my audi..just had it remapped today :) wohoo 210BHP :)
CFM is cubic feet per minute. The bigger the number the more air it flows. The electric motor can only spin to fast and the fan move so much air. It may help at very low RPMS but once you get up in rpms its probably starving your engine of air.
yeh its on in my other vid when im racing my mate in his civic. and theres another vid with it of and then i switch it on at the end and start bootin it around.check it out and let me know what you think bout it. cheers
i got a vid of it on now from 0-top check my vids and see it. let me know what you think.where did you get your supercharger from? and is it twin aswel?

your giving a bad name to electric turbos you can see bodge galore what use is tape gonna be to a presurised system on the outside
unless used to expland circular diamaeters to make a better clamp with jubilee clip.
how i did mine
common sense people!!!

In your 1.1
You are merely going with the flow of traffic.
who are these fucking idiots who think there little 60hp cars are quick???
camelz3391 3 years ago
when its your first car its always going to seem quick if your ripping it whether its 60 or 225bhp.
why do u keep comming back with your bull shit comments?

You do realise that 4 Bar is 58 PSI right?? If you ran 58 PSI through an N/A engine you'd blow it into next week!

he said 0.4bar

Ah so he did lol. It was late and my eyes were tired!

Supercharged? more like undercharged cos you just restricted your inlet
before67 3 years ago 3
I'm just not a believer of electric superchargers. You should install a boost gauge and see if it does anything.

so if i fix it, it will help me in the low RPM and then when the RPM is high what happen? it will decreasing the preformance? or??
and around how many HP u gain ? and it is a big diffrent between it and normal air coler?

rihgt matey lets do some maths and shut you up!!
lets use 1.4l engine for example
at 6000rpm it is taking in 0.7litres of air x6000
which equal 4200 l of air per minute at 6000rpm
right 4199litres a minute is 148 cubic feet per minute
you get a an extrctor fan of any sort that can do more than 146cfm you will improove you engines performance even if it is reducing the effort used on the draw stroke,

i see, it does have a better pick up at low rpms, up in the revs its not too noticeable but it is in 1st-3rd gear.

Please. They dont even flow enough CFM to supply your engine. Its a waste of money.
