If you like "wet" piano sound, this is the version for you, but he ignores most of Debussy's artculation marks . . .nevertheless, it's convincing. I must be getting softer in my old age! haha
I think this is beautiful and way better than I could ever hope to play it, but the opening bars are too legato. There are no slur markings in the manuscript and there are staccato dots. What happened to that? Nevertheless...beautiful! And yes, even though it is grade 8, I find it harder to play than Brahms Intermezzo Opus 118 no. 2 which is apparently diploma level...am not finding it easy to do Debussy justice with this piece lol!!

If you look at previous comments you'll find that the pianist for this interpretation is François-Joël Thiollier. A beautiful performance, in any case.
