the offense has no movement and he get 9 assist per game because no 1 else gets to hold the ball, the team averages lik 20 assist. also he isnt clutch, clutch player can create there own shot. jose is a true point guard that plays at an all star level.his shooting% and assits p/game are better. ford tries to be flashy when he should be passing, somthing calderon does perfectly. ford isnt more entertaining because of his fancy whoopy-do shots, whats more impressive is calderons ability to find open players everytime without turning over the ball and never taking a bad shot. ford ends up being a try hard and takes tons of really bad shots especially when there is pressure to score
T.J Ford is not a team player, if he has got limited minutes hes not going to pass the ball all he does is shoot, Calderon always makes his team looks better, T.J is also a cry baby, Calderon also had the highest shooting percent in the league, overall calderon is a more durable reliable and consistent PG.
Although I like Calderon more I have to admit you are wrong. When TJ Ford is healthy he is among the top 5 in the league in assists. The only problem that I see with him is that he has a tendacy at times to try much and take over the game. If you remember in 06-07 Ford averaged more then 8 assists (5th in the league) even when sharing minutes with Jose. I think keeping Calderon was an excellent choice and I hope Ford stays healthy and succeeds in Indiana.
Calderon is by far the better of the two, I can't bare to remember the times i had to suffer through tj tryin to make stellar play after stellar play while turnin the ball over 50% of the time. jose is the better shooter by far, sees the court better, and hardly ever turned the ball over. And i will def take O'neal if the very least gets us out of the basement in rebounds.
I would consider both to be equal in terms of skill/talent they are just different in their styles as PG's. Ford is obviously the more entertaining as he is a better playmaker with his speed (north-south), quickness (east-west), and passing ability, but his main weaknesses are his jump shot, size on defense, and is very turnover prone trying to make plays in traffic going at a very high speed.
it's unfortunate that TJ had to go... 2 seasons ago they were our biggest strength and why they were percievably more successful as a team than this past season.

calderon is a good team player. he could make the raptors as a team; the weak points are,jose just run little slow, and his 1 on 1 in off. is not as good as tj.

im going to put this to rest jose is better period,tj is a better ball handler and flashy passer but fundamentally jose crushes him as a shooter a guy who never turns over the ball I gurantee you all jose will be in the all-star game next yr he will probably with enough playing time lead the league in assists he that good he was 5th last yr as a back up and lets be honest if tj was better jose would be in indiana and that would be a damn shame for raptor fans

jose is a true point guard that plays at an all star level.his shooting% and assits p/game are better. ford tries to be flashy when he should be passing, somthing calderon does perfectly. ford isnt more entertaining because of his fancy whoopy-do shots, whats more impressive is calderons ability to find open players everytime without turning over the ball and never taking a bad shot. ford ends up being a try hard and takes tons of really bad shots especially when there is pressure to score

I dont know before TJ's injury he wuz having a allstar season and WATCH OUT IN INDIANA CUZ HE'S GONNA ROCK IT!!!!!!!!
But when TJ wuz injured, Jose wuz haven a allsatr season too.
But cuz they put tj on the starting lineup, that clearly means that TJ is better.
But after his injury they started playig Jose more, cuz he wuz clearly better.

While i think TJ is the better player you can't go wrong with either. But because of the risk of injury they were going for Calderon over him.
But, O'Neal >>> Calderon and Ford so it didn't matter which point guard we traded we still win lol.

T.J Ford is not a team player, if he has got limited minutes hes not going to pass the ball all he does is shoot, Calderon always makes his team looks better, T.J is also a cry baby, Calderon also had the highest shooting percent in the league, overall calderon is a more durable reliable and consistent PG.

Although I like Calderon more I have to admit you are wrong. When TJ Ford is healthy he is among the top 5 in the league in assists. The only problem that I see with him is that he has a tendacy at times to try much and take over the game. If you remember in 06-07 Ford averaged more then 8 assists (5th in the league) even when sharing minutes with Jose. I think keeping Calderon was an excellent choice and I hope Ford stays healthy and succeeds in Indiana.

Calderon is by far the better of the two, I can't bare to remember the times i had to suffer through tj tryin to make stellar play after stellar play while turnin the ball over 50% of the time. jose is the better shooter by far, sees the court better, and hardly ever turned the ball over. And i will def take O'neal if the very least gets us out of the basement in rebounds.

I would consider both to be equal in terms of skill/talent they are just different in their styles as PG's. Ford is obviously the more entertaining as he is a better playmaker with his speed (north-south), quickness (east-west), and passing ability, but his main weaknesses are his jump shot, size on defense, and is very turnover prone trying to make plays in traffic going at a very high speed.

I know tj has a tendency to go 1on5. But when tj is feeling it we all love him but when he is missing shots we hate him. Calderon is the more consistent shooter and controls the ball better than tj.
