@JOEJONAS5384 I have to say I honestly don't know what the chorus is singing. I liked the music, which seemed to fit the mood I was looking for, but I wish I could find the lyrics somewhere.
Let's just put it this way: The writings and lessons of the 'traditional' Fr. Lasance do not seem to match the modern day behaviors or dress code in this video that the great priest spoke of.
While I'm not a fan of the music, as it seems too contemporary, I thank you very much for posting this. I love the writings of Fr. Lasance, especially the Catholic Girls guide. How if only the young women of today would read and adhere to these delicate and inspirational words of the dear Father; our world would be a much better place. I am a better because of them.
@jrlomy2 I totally disagree with your comment,,,,,,the music has been excellently chosen to acconpany this prayer of Contrition. 'Too contemporary' ?? If it is contemporary, it certainly doesn't make it of a lower quality ! ! !
@BenedictusDeus Contemporary is NOT the same as authenticity or licitness. Contemporary lacks reverence. It removes worship of God to self. None of which "contemporary"/"modern" Catholicism possess. Nothing that ever came from VII from 1962 until present day is remotely authentic or remotely Catholic. The "difference" means whether your sins are absolved or not. The difference is whether you gain indulgences or sanctifying grace. The difference, literally means Heaven or Hell. God bless.
@jrlomy2k It is a very beautiful and inspiring music that accompanies the Act of Contrition in an excellent manner. It is so disgraceful and revolting when people like you, in their ignorance, all they can do is complain. Just SHUT UP or DON'T LISTEN.
@BenedictusDeus Your last comment demonstrated precisely my point. "By their fruits, you shall know them." Your lack of charity and name calling proves one thing: You have "nothing". Whatever happened to 'remorse, sorrow, and humility in the Act of Contrition/Penance?" Contemporary has no place next to Tradition. We should be humbly, and gravely sorrowful for sinning. This is not the issue of music as it is the 'party to the confessional' is on here.
@jrlomy2k ALthough BenedictusDeus was Rude by telling you to shut up and it was rude of him I agree the music isnt bad . Im gathering that you are a Traditionalist Sedevacantism Catholic Look Im not gonna debate you with History of the Church because Ill admitt I dont know anything in that department. I think the music is fine and as far as the photo's go no ones gonna notice other than you that the preist are not in the same dress code or doing high mass or low mass.
Fr. Francis was the man! The icons you chose were also beautiful-you selected some of the best I have seen in some time. Thanks as always, for creating this essential videos. :)
@creatornat Thank you so much! I was not sure that anyone would know who Fr Francis was; I am happy to see I was mistaken. Your comments always mean a great deal to me creatornat :)
What is the song? Dear Lord it is beautiful. And the prayer is so in depth. This is a real act of contrition. God bless.
