i think the thing i seen about Capoeira, was some tv program i seen in my teens about brazil(almost 20yrs ago). But more than just what i was seeing with the communal training was the music....for some reason the music resonated deep. now i'm 33 and want to start Capoeira, even if i was placed in the kiddie group lol...now i can safely embarrass myself at home. thanks for posting this!
is a nice video, i'm learning capoeira angloa for 2 months and i love it; is a little diferent because my master tached me to be relaxed, first i was thinking it was just a dance but it proved very useful one time, i could not belive, i wasn't thinking but my body was
What I usually do, is put the kick foot down and then move the foot that whas supporting me behind the other. so you're in one of the base positions of ginga. Or just put you're kick foot immediatly behind the other so you're in the base position. (depends on the kick or ask your mestre. You can see it in this video.
wow. nice video. very informative. im not sure whether i could find someone who teaches capoeira in my country. it's really a good thing zalimayaz uploaded this one. thanks!
i think im gonna lose weight training like that. x)
I've been looking for Mestres nearby but the nearest is the next state over from me. I would like to learn from one but this definitely the next best thing.

by the way, eddie, the character in the video game tekken uses this martial art. that inspired me to learn this war dance.
