Activision put it on for employees and invited guests to launch E3 and promote their upcomming games for 2010-11. They allegedly spent $6 million on this party, and I don't doubt it. It was pretty amazing.
There were no signs or people stating no cameras or filming. Half the crowd had cameras or phones out for Eminem (and other various parts of the party). Not to mention there are a lot of websites that have videos up too now. -----
And yeah the sound sucks, it's a phone and I was about 40ft from the stage and next to speakers... captured this for a friend :)
