I wonder, was Joey Kesler also a staff announcer at WKYH at the time?  It almost sounds like him on the IGA supermarket ad, as well as that long station ID and the sign-off.

Yes, it was an NBC affiliate.

I don't remember which model cameras were used, except they were large.

RCA TK-42's/-43's were quite large, from what I've seen of old photos.

Now I noticed that it was mentioned WKYH used color cameras with vidicon tubes. Would that be the RCA TK-42 or TK-43?

The satellite photos were probably taped off of a late-afternoon network feed that also had raw video and repackaged news stories for affiliate use.

This was in the final weeks of WKYH-TV. They became WYMT-TV a few days or weeks later.
