when i delete the middle section the whole foundation level shoots up like two floors i dont get why its doing it and it wont let me do the bridge right anybody got any suggestions?

Anyone else get a weird bar between the arch? I think it gets left behind when I raise the terrain, but I can;t find a way to get rid of it without scrapping the bridge. But then it usually still happens. :D Thanks for any help!

@GhostPhriek delete one of the middle squares in the bridge, and it should vanish on both sides.

and...ea are trying to plug some money making into this..no doubt..but it isint really alot for what your getting..4000 sim points could buy you everything you want out of the current sho and a little bit more...with my free 1000 i bought a castle kit. but really it isint alot of money their asking for....once youve played this for a while your sims do things themselves..like have kids and move out into another house...but it really depends how much cash they have or how big your house is.

yea sorry about that mate...update to my last comment tbh..if your wanting to run this get a "good" laptop...i mean...if you have an alienware it would be no problem..i currently have a vaio and i got it for xmas, it works well...but you need to remember to put down the shadow options or the game serriously lags...by the way..PLEASE take advantage of the updates that make the game faster..my game has worked like a legend ever since i updated...

just going to get clear here, this game is crap on any laptop you can possibly buy, ive played all the sims games and expansions from day one, sims 2 was the peak, sims 3 is just money making, ea has become corrupt with sims 3 and you have to buy items off the site? please...id rather not. id play sims 2, the peak, with all the expansions which now cost pennies and get an extra lets see 80 hours gameplay to 2 hours..

The Sims 3 is for proper computers with game cards. I put it on my laptop and it didn't work, so then I put it on my computer and now it works fine! If you want to buy a game with great gameplay and great graphics then you should buy Sims 3, if you hate the sims so much why don't you just not play it. Your fault for buying a 30 pounds game before getting any reviews on it. And to think, you could have bought a pizza with that.

I don't know if you could do it if there's already water and leave the water as it is. The elevation cheat will affect the ground regardless of what's there, so you might just give it a try. The reason I start out with a flat surface is because it's easier to find out where you need to click to raise the terrain.

It's basically the same steps, but if it's longer then you'll need to change the amount of times you raise the ground, so that it still curves. The longer the bridge the steeper the elevation will have to be, so it's not practical.

Hmm... I'm not 100% sure but I think you should be able to get the 2nd floor floor level again by using the level terrain tool over that level. I'll have to go check.

u can flatten the 2nd floor btw if it humps but remember to have "constrainFloorElevation false" Cheat on to do it =D
