@achiappa I think its a controller for his software. It looks like a digidesign.

At this desk he starts samples or sequences (no not everything is live).

"Aint nobody'" fi starts with a sequence but they came in wrong.

@achiappa they did cover it up very well. If you listen to another video Ain´t Nobody, Live In Pori Jazz 2002 the starting sequence is in time. It doesnt matter cause they fixed it like pros.

@DuxJerome Wrong?? Cover up? No way menn... The 'sequence melody' sounds like it's outta tune, but the 'sequence hi-hat-beat' doesn't.. Just listen to the placement off the fills/accents during the sequence. (You did notice that the sequence is running for like 30 sec.) Just count with'it.

Sure a bass player should know the difference :p..

As a professionnal musician ( jazz, fusion guitarist ) I've to admit that VOICE is the

MAIN instrument and with Chaka for female and Stevie for male ... I've to thank God !

... and this CHAKA touch my soul for more than 40 years now ! whoa ;)

Please never give up Chaka : I need your voice, soul, ... and smile ;)

Fantastic i LOVE this woman she is my fave singer. She looks really good & has dropped alot of weight, go on Chaka. I luve she is having fun & doing what she does best & that's sing her ass off!

This is a concert that could have been put up for release instead of the last one. She seems to be having fun in both performances but this has far better vocals and shows why we still love that voice. Two or three new songs in the line up like Fools paradise,Move me no mountain,The woman I am would be cool. A surprise rendition of her favorite Wonder song...Prince song...Patti or Retha song. I was lucky to hear her do until you come back to me while I was in Detroit. The audience loved it.
