OMG!!!!!

2months ago I bought 2 1.9GTI’s. Nr. 1 was stript and repainted, motor rebuild and put back together. This one was bought for 8oo Euros, 1500 invested and sold two weeks ago for 6500!! Nr. 2 is still in restoration, all original with the aim to get back in Showroom condition. All in all I have owned 5 of these cars; the strongest was a 2 Ltr 16V turbo with 210 kw. This one was sold for 9000Euro to France.

The Peugeot 205 GTi to be fair does not have the attributes of a modern car or the practicality, but it was fun to drive in its day and is much better than some South Korean paper cup on wheels. the only car that has bettered this really handling wise is the ultra rare Lancia Delta Integrale due to its 4WD but the Pug was a better machine all round. The only car that has beaten the Golf in the nameplates 26 year history.

im amazed that the guys at the junkjard even did that, i threw away my old 1.4 205 and i was asked in the prosesse if it was a GTI. when he found out it wasn´nt, he acepted to throw it away.

If you cant repair a car like that, then let some one else do it, give it away or something, dont fucking kill a car like that. You deserve a slap in the face!

the back axel is just a minor issue jillo1977, also the engine might be in pieces, its easily replaced by purchasing aftermarket components. there is no GTi now today with ALL of its original stuff, technology has moved on and this car coulve lived again easily.
