  • gotta get me one of those

  • This truck is like a swiss-army knife in a truck; wish I have $50k for one.

  • I kinda want one of these. What are your guys opinions? And please be truthful

  • The AWD system does NOT send power to the wheels when thei slip,it sends power to the oposite wheel or wheels.

  • Hey I'm considering this truck and was wondering if the rear blind spots are a huge problem...I would be driving this to school so the drivers aren't all that great...also how are repairs it it's all one body? Is I get hit it the area of what would be the quarter panel how is it fixed?

  • this or the honda ridge line?

  • @spidermanfan28 this or the honda ridge line which you prefer?

  • Men i remeber like 3 months ago, i went to the chevrolet dealership, i was gong to get an avalanche but the guy came back and told me i had horrible credit and i needed $2,500 down payment, hell i didn't have that kind of money right know so i left crying, i try to hold it in but i couldn't.

  • @ggm888 u just made me depressed. cause i will never have enough money to own one of these.

  • wouldnt the plastic fade over time?

  • @backintack I think they solved that problem in the later models. Zebra striping was a big issue with these trucks.

  • @backintack My Dad has a 2006 Avalanche, and he had the dealer put some sort of liquid coating on the plastic to keep it looking new. About 5 years later and he still has it, and the plastic cladding still looks great.

  • Napoleon Dynamite's brother, Kip!

  • SUBURBAN SUT!!

  • BTW, this truck should not be compared with a heavy duty truck like the F-150. This is just a large SUV with some Truck capabilities, for fun and light work use. When the cargo bed is extended by opening the midgate, it just for few long items, not a pile of 2x4 wood boards. Just playwood or dry wall sheets, nothing above the top line that is after folding the rear seats, behind the driver/front passenger seats. Off course, everything in the cargo area must be secured.

  • I really like this car...it is very useful. I dont think I will use the cargo bed to put long items very often, since I wouldnt use it as a work vehicle, but as my personal use and weekend trip vehicle.

  • when he says its quite inside and just turns away

    made me lmao

  • the truck would look better with a longer bed, regardless of the fold down seats, it just looks funny

  • bulshit this thing wont tow a shit ton of stuff get the 2500 comes with a 8.1l badass

  • @14lessthan1 this is for more of a family car, not a work truck

  • yOU CAN ALWAYS TELL THE PEOPLE THAT DO THESE VIDEOS DON`T OWN ONE OF THESE CUZ YOU GOT ME FUCKED UP IF YOU THINK IM GUNNA SCRATCH THE SHIT OUTTA THE TOP SIDE OFMY HEAD REST LIKE HE DOES AT 1:03 -1:04.

  • is this for all models/years

  • One big downside to this and cadillac. They are not safe. I have a friend who had an 08 Avalanche. He had three 8' long 2X4s in the back, with the back seats down. Some jerk rear ended him at 20 mph. The 2x4s went right into the nav unit and dash. If he had something shorter (like a kayak) behind his seat, it would have nailed him. B4 this happened, I was thinking of the avalanche. But now I picked up a Ford F150 with crew cab. No way am I going tio have a truck without the bed separate

  • Being a fan of the Ave, it's still good to hear you decided on a domestic truck. With the midgate up, the bed is probably similar to the F150 length-wise. Even with it down, the front seats are pretty stout (mine even have the seat belts built in), would take a lot to do 'em in. Besides, if you keep your mind on the road, it's unlikely you'll be rear-ended.

  • @proxima For your information, whenever you are carrying long items like wood boards, you must tight them and secure them. What happened to your friend would happen in any regular pick up truck. If the item remains in a position where it can move (like when the wood board is too long to fit the cargo bed and you have to let it lay on the frame behind the cab rear window) you must secure it, because if you get hit behind, that board will airborn and fall over someone else, you see?

  • i love this car, is very very very and very very beautiful and very powered.!

  • lol never knew that u could take the whole back and window out

  • Not really a fan of CR, but this is a pretty fair review. I have an '05 Avalanche, the mid gate really comes in handy when hauling drywall or other long items. Leaving the glass in place keeps things dry and warm, even with the cab open to the covered bed.

  • @dbinder79 If you're ever driving with the whole midgate (I think it's called) down including the window, does it get cold?

  • The HVAC system is plenty capable of keeping the cabin warm/cool while the midgate is down. They recommend running the fan hot/cold to keep exhaust fumes out of the cabin. I live in Mid-MI, no complaints.

  • esta d puta mare

  • wouldnt it get a bit chilly if you're using the extended bed in the winter?

  • It doesn't, it is well insulated. :)

  • @saywhatmachine with out the window, yes,,turn the heater on max

  • @saywhatmachine with the bed cover on and rear window up, it's weather tight.

  • suburban sut? put the wild turkey down

  • SUBURBAN SUT!!!

  • SUBURBAN SUT NOT AVALANCHE!!

  • i wish they would come out with a red/ red leather model

  • thats a nice looking avalanche
