6:10 Bush and his cronies?!?!?! What a load of crap!! It's not Bush's fault we are disliked... that's the American people's fault !! I was much prouder to be an American under Bush than Obama. And the comment about McCain... at least he fought for the country and lived through a POW camp which HAD to be hell. It hurts to see a veteran be beat out by a lie.
This is very interesting to watch in hindsight. I have to say however that Obama still looks good to me. Almost 3 months into the job, and i still love him to death! This is not so much about "drinking the cool-aid"..although i know some will disagree with that, but for me, i can see that Obama's heart is in the right place.
The job is not easy, i don't agree with him on everything, but his heart is in the right place and that, ABSOLUTELY works for me!!!

The lady in blue doesn't know just how accurate she is. As soon as Obama becomes President, foreigners will forget all this stupid praise, and ass kissing, and they will hate Obama just like they hate Bush. Foreigners mostly hate Americans; and it makes NO FUCKING DIFFERENCE who's in the White House.
It's just adorable that you have opinions, but public opinion data proves you're wrong. The Pew Global Survey, for instance, shows that world opinion of the USA has plummeted in the Bush years. That's what you get with the distilled essence of Republican craziness making horrible decisions for eight years.
So you went from "it makes NO FUCKING DIFFERENCE" to "Time will tell." Something we can agree on. However it will help that the US isn't being run by a gang of incompetent ideologically-driven Republicans who turn everything they touch putrid.
by the way have you seen the video, i think it's either letterman or a sketch from bill maher which details obama's visits to nations all around the world, then at the end him calling up bush and saying "is there anyone you didn't piss off"
These BBC reporters are much more biased, partial, and objective in their opinions of the Presidential candidates than CNN and alternative American media. So glad to see foreign support for the ONLY suitable candidate for the American presidency.
They are not BBC reporters, they are journalists from newspapers etc, based in london. And yer, if Obama was running for president in the UK, he would easily win, no question.
I sincerly doubt the Brits would vote for Obama! Yes, the Brit reporters fall all over themselves for Obama now but Obama is not becoming the next PM of England. If the Brits had a black candidate for PM (which will NEVER happen!)how quickly the media would change their tune! The black candidate would be ripped apart by the media! They like Obama but only because it's the 'Yanks leader' not theirs! I can count how many minority MPs are in England with one hand!
You should also notice the blatant prejudice exhibited by these know it alls. Notice how Yazmina, who represents the adolescent point of view, says that if Obama is elected, she will "hate him".Notice how the Indian woman wails against "white american males".I would advise her to worry more about the inhumane treatment of the untouchables, among others, in her own country.Watch the moderator admit no one will say anything mean about obama.Nice to see the left wing bias admitted for a change
We now have a presidential candidate who is willing to admit that America isn't always right & willing to work with some of those 'conservative' governments to change things for the better. It isn't about being or not being pro American, taking sides like in the playground. This is about being brave enough to have a global vision to make the world we live in a better place not just for ourselves but also for our neighbours and those who don't look or worship in the same way as we do.
Kujhawkrulz, you are not hated. You confuse the hatred and racism (against whites) and americans exemplified by leftwing talk shows in europe like DatelineLondon with the views of the people in those places. If you ever heard of an election, where the real views of the people are shown, you will notice that there are conservative governments in Germany, Canada, Italy, most pro american in France since 2nd world war,and conservatives looking good in the UK for next election.Dont believe the hype.
White people aren't hated. The 'hatred' here comes from the fear and policies imposed by the Bush administration which shook the world in a way that hasn't been seen since the last world war, which caused alot of damage to many innocent people.
the south never votes Democrat anyway. John Kerry lost every single state in the south. It was Ohio (in the midwestern United States) that decided the election in 2004, not the south.
Imagine it! The "extremists dancing in the streets if Obama gets elected" that Fox News talks about-- what's wrong with that? Seems like it would be pretty hard to motivate a person to blow himself up just to kill some of us if they are "dancing in the streets" over our president. . .

Hillary would have been a mistake. The only reason Obama gave her the Sec. of State job was to shut up her supporters.

What a foolish thing to say. I am a critic of the U.S. but that women in the blue cardigan sounds silly.

Wow... it's... like... people... talking to one another directly, having a genuine discussion, as opposed to dressing up their words in
dramatic intonations,
and presumptive questions,
and empty rhetoric,
all for the soap opera fans.
It's almost like a brief and civilised political analysis on a REAL news channel.

Every country has 'untouchables'. In the West they are just given different titles: Homeless, elderly, asylum seekers, unemployed, single mothers...
