If I did, you definitely would not have been able to hear it. My butt is not that close to that cheap mike I had. The audio worked fine on my computer, but when the crappy quality video was uploaded, the youtube compression made that noice on a few of the videos. I no longer use that cheap video camera for my videos.

I now use a better quality camera for it, but if that makes you laugh to think I farted, well I just farted right now.

it is not supprising to me that people are leaving the amish faith/lifestyle.

it almost seems natural that the same people would reject the status quo and rebel against "normal" thought.

i feel like when really bad shit happens amish and amish decendents will prosper for generation uppon generation.

Seems to me that there are many other ethnic groups of a more urban nature, one might say that are much more problematic to American society than these peace loving, kind, respectful, self reliant, self sustainiing, love thy neighbor helping people. But I guess ABC found a soft target to attack that they knew wouldn't fight back. Courageous journalism, ABC. Real Pulitzer Prize stuff your putting out. Well not all are the same, but these ones that they were showing was close to my home (Ashland, I live a mile from the Ashland County Line). Ofcourse you can't stereotype everyone by this, but this is a group that is rather strict, but they are Old Orders (I was Swartzentruber, which is known as being one of the strictest).

At least young Amish are given the choice to leave and allowed to experience the English world before they devote themselves to the community. I couldn't imagine being a part of a beliefs system where leaving the faith is punishable by death but those groups do exist.

This documentary on ABC News was narrated by Deborah Roberts or Mrs. Al Roker. It is the most outrageous example of stereotypical generalization and resulting prejudice from a small sampling of anecdotal accounts. They wish to portray an evil, abusive, and controlling group of people. Having lived amongst Amish neighbors all my life I find it tabloidal in its falseness. It is deplorable to me that a so called premier news organization would egage in sensational claptrap.

Oh, I thought this is what you were asking for, but my TV is also messed up right now... As for uploading it here, I would need permission from ABC, as I would get a complaint from them again and Youtube could close my account. They are much more strict abot that for Partner accounts. If anyone else can put it on their account, that is OK by me, but I can't do so on this account.
