@Sheri451 The beginning of the end of a great franchise too. It was the merger with Hardees that eventually led to the selling off of almost all the Roy Rogers restaurants in existence to other chains such as Boston Market and McDonalds. To this day only a few scarce restaurants remain mostly along the NJ Turnpike and the NY Thruway.
@jldraw Hardees used to sell roast beef sandwiches that were as good as Arbys, and fried chicken too. But when Carl Jrs bought them out the sandwiches and the fried chicken stopped. They sell Tacos and nachos at some of the restaruants. But mostly big and very expensive hamburgers. The Hardees in my area sell breakfast biscuits more than anything. And the senior citizens go there every day for the free coffee.
HMMM! I think thats when they went into buisness with Hardees
