Her band members must've had a hard time with these kinds of performances, though I'm sure they always had Amy's back...It's a pity no one could protect her from herself...There's something hauntingly fascinating about watching Amy drunk while performing...It's why we watch reality shows, because we want to see the drama, the "train wreck"...Still, though, this is very sad to watch, very sad.

why is there a contest over the coverage of the passing of amy and the norweigan tragedy? obviously amy will recieve press attention and public greivance because she was in the public eye, this doesn't mean people care less about any other tragedy. yes it was self inflicted, and expected, but this is still a sad story of a young girl and her own personal problems. not every tragedy gets coverage. there is stuff going on everyday that we dont even hear about. doesnt mean we care less.

It's not like we didn't know before she was in trouble. It's just sad to see she was in trouble for a few years while people who cared about her couldn't do much to stop her. This is the face of addiction. There are people like her who are among us, who need love and assistance. Amy did have a beautiful voice. She has people that love her. It is sad that her parents could see what would happen and that they have to bury their daughter tomorrow.
