hi, please note this change is over the summer months and it is a normal change that occurs in these months. what we need to look at is the change over years not summer months.

Yes, this is over the summer months, and a reduction in the polar ice is normal then. However, the extent it melted last summer is unprecedented. I posted this video because it made this palpable. To scientifically chart the progress of global warming, you're right, we should be tracking the difference in peak melt over several years. I've been unable to find satellite images that do so. Animations and data are easily found, though these don't make it seem so real.

901d13: Ice is not ice. The one which is melting now was 2000 to 20000 years old. It won't come back soon, and surely not during a few winters. On the pictures you can't see the thickness of the ice. It was once several dozen meters and never melted in summer. Now its not even thick enough to support an ice bear.

Oh my God this is so normal. Has been since we have been keeping records. They cut the video off at month 8 when the ice reforms and returns to normal in the winter months.

Deceit feeds on a simple mind, open your eyes people do a little research.
