But my opinion for this game: its the most awesome and realistic game I EVER seen and being a WWII game just makes it more awesome ^^

Dont know how much it costs but its definately worth the money.

Hopefully "Heroes of Stalingrad" will be as awesome as this since they have some new cover features in that one!

Did you guys ever notice how the semi automatic sniper rifles are very inaccurate compared to the bolt actions?

there are alot more moving parts in the firing mechanism of a semi auto gun, so the recoil in general can be more substantial. they also, for gameplay reasons, make the Semi auto guns less accurate, because if they were as accurate as the bolt actions, everyone would just shoot tons of bullets everywhere.

Its so much realer. its harder to snipe you don't put your eye fuller on the scope like you do in cod. That would take an eye out via recoil/discarded bullet. It doesn't move because it is deployed, meaning rested on something. Every gun can do that. Not just proning will make your gun accurate. Stick to your pussy game. Because this game is so much realer and requires strategy unlike your arcade piece of shit. I was on CoD today just now and it bores me its too easy.

Can be changed in options. The option "3d sights" can be seen in the graphics options iirc. Make sure you choose "yes" for this option.

hey there are many maps for this game, but only 10 maps came with the cd. and nearly 70% of servers use custom maps, or new ones. It takes too long to download them directly from servers, and the game crashes after some time. so where can I download ALL maps from? in a pack, if I find.

It works through steam, why can;t you use steam? It's an online game (has bots, but mp is really the only point to it) having to login to steam and start it isn;t really that big a deal.

It's also on sale at the moment through steam, only 7.50 usd.

Well, many people tell that sniping is really hard in RO.

At least people are not moving, it's really, really hard to hit them.

For that reason I prefer Mauser or Gewehr41.

It's useless to be a sniper... or quite.

I love sniping...you live longer if done right. I hate being just infantry, your deaths is soo high. Not realistic enough for me. I like having 70+ kills to one or two deaths. Sometimes being an MG guy is cool too. I hate reloading!! LOL! This guy isn't too bad. He needs to move more...or he get targeted and then alert the enemy to a good snipe postion

I had this one kill right at the end of a map, (think it was the valley one) Where I nabbed a guy on the top of a cliff with a regular Kar 98, and then had the pleasure of watching him tumble 200 feet to the valley floor. There was much rejoicing. (Oh, and nice video :P)

no, its an online multiplayer game, just like CS:S and DoD:S but more versatile, you can drive tanks and such, unlike DoD and theres more weapons.
