That rapid increased grip + unstable inertia by going over the hill can easily cause a car to violently turn left of right even if the steering is just slightly rotated either way. He should have braked softly before the hill.

The car went light over the crest and he lost the back end, it's totally understandable, that is a very tricky part of the circuit indeed.

i think this does not depend on the weigt. this can also happen with havy cars.
the clio only has a too bad aerodynamics (bad downforce) for this little hill
