For those of you that don't have the tab from the book or guitar magazine I have a scan of the original winger tab book send me a email and I'll email a link for the seventeen.pdf and if interested will link the whole book to you.
Damn! You make it look so easy. I have been trying to nail this for so long. You wouldn't happen to want to make a tutorial on the opening riff? You play it to perfection.
The way you do this intro is the closest I've seen to the way it sounds on the record...if you ever get bored, if you could detail how you play it, that would be sweeeeeeeet...the tabs are always wrong, but it sounds like you nailed it.
Watching your video, I noticed some nuances that I never picked up from listening to the record. I would try to replicate it, but there was just something missing, little pieces here and I never could understand what I was doing wrong - but your video showed me where I was messing up - thanks.
GREAT job! Fuckin brilliant. Spot-on. Screw those pinheads who want to criticize. I am a rock guitarist with decades of experience, so I know the real deal when I hear it. You NAILED this one, brother. Keep up the good work!!
dude, dotn worry about his being a critic to your playing, i just checked out his version and he should be taking the lesson from you . i think yours is baout as dead on as you can get .. sounds great. i subscribed to you.... thats why i dont post my playing on here.. everyone wants to be a critic ....Bubba
tons of apologies mate. Thank you so much for pointing out such a terrible, inexcusably poor playing of mine! I assure you that I reconsider my playing as such, and will definitely quit playing the guitar. I realize that your guitar mastery and authority is unquestionable, taking into account that you dont play the damn guitar yourself!
@guitarlessons82 wow you sound like a fuckin cock breath faggot. he only gave you constructive criticism and you replied like a fuckin asshole. have a nice life, cock breath.
@gremlin0890 Now your mouth is full of shit, he watch the whole video and point out ONE misstake. If he played bad he would just continue watching something else. And why the fk do you need to play a song precicely? It's his version of the song. Now you have a nice miserable life, loner. Good playing overall, couldnt do it better myself :)
@guitarlessons82 lol ok. i asked that because the backing track that you're using is the exact same from the cd that came from the book. also how your playing it looks alot like the tabs in the book, just saying.
I just checked it out, thaks for the info. Actually I play it way too different. It definitely sounds very close to it, because it's still "seventeen" by winger
Excellent tone and feel!!

This is really good! I especially like the fact that you don't play the original CD in the background so I can't tell which is which.
