Mickeleh, it's been a while since i've been youtube viewing, but it is a real pleasure to return to your page, especially with these background shots. What, do you have a green screen, or blue screen, or whatever color that is screen now? It looks terrific. Thanks for taking the time to enter all of the names. This is a nice little bit of cultural history; I'm glad I know something about the Chelsea Hotel.
But the chorus is the best part: love that you booked a room for yourself but "forgot to book one for my muse."
There is no question, u belong among those on the list. In a day and age when it's not cool to be a self-crowned laureate, you fit yourself in nicely w/ the humility topos. It's cool that you haven't let the fact that you're a genius get in the way of being a nice guy.
Have fun in London! And please stop by the British Library to say hello to Shakespeare's First Folio for me!
It's true that I didn't book a room for my muse. But she showed up anyway about an hour before checkout time and gave me that line. At first, I thought she was from housekeeping and I almost didn't let her in.
Yes. Just started working w/ chromakey (green screen). Still a little rough and glowy around the edges. I'll refine my technique after I get back from London. I bought a roll of green screen paper at the local pro photo store. and taped it to the wall. That's the easy part. What I need to work on is the lighting.
I liked the song :D and it must have been an amazing experience anyway, even though it's just a hotel... so odd how we can give some places a special status... well, we don't, the famous people do. Did the list just say: Tom Milsom? awesome :D
Please don't get a gun, mickekeh. :P

Great video, nice little history lesson told in a very unusual way.
Sadly most of the people on that list I had never heard of, I must be a recluse of sorts, or is it that I am not an American..!

All those other guys are fine, but if Alice Cooper stayed there... well!
Seriously, though, what a list! I'd be tempted to go commune with Burroughs and DeKooning myself.
